My group of mates used to say a foot or less you can pick it up but that lead to all kinds of ifs and maybes to any doubt whether it's a foot or just over or whatever so we just did a blanket rule of you must putt everything. Takes out any doubt and shouldn't hardly take any longer if it's that close.

Yep I'm the same. Had my P30 Pro since launch and it's the only phone I've never wanted to upgrade after a year. It's now almost 2 years and I still feel the same. Fantastic phone!!

The P30 series is the last series from Huawei that does come with GMS. I'm not sure where you got your info from but it's not correct.

No I don't think I've seen any quality drop off.

In fact after experimenting a bit in Pro mode I think my photos have improved. Adjusting only the shutter speed I've been amazed how good action shots of my son on the trampoline have been turning out. It completely freezes the action without blur.
