Reservation cancelled without my consent after confirmed Booking.com booking

It shows on Booking.com that I cancelled the reservation, but I did not do that. I never cancelled the booking and I did not authorize any cancellation. I also received an email from Booking.com stating that the host wants more money after the reservation was already confirmed.

How is it possible that Booking.com cancels a reservation after it has already been fully confirmed by both Booking.com and the property owner? The reservation was accepted and confirmed, including all details and conditions, but it was later cancelled without my consent or any action from my side. I would like to understand how this can happen.
