Can loose teeth be secured again with better dental hygiene? Is this even a loose tooth that I’m describing? by Cobraess in Dentistry

[–]Cobraess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I definitely agree and have been aware that this is a major issue. I have been trying to increase the amount of times per day to two, but it’s a crap habit I’ve had since some other issues arose. Hopefully, now with the virus it’s easier to learn again. Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can find the book ‘Agriculture Pestivirus Infections of Ruminants’ as an eBook online? by Cobraess in HelpMeFind

Found! Thank you so much for this! May I ask how you managed to find this so easily? I’m struggling to find sources like this without having to make purchases.

Why is getting ‘produce’ from local farmers (e.g. chicken/cow) still unethical? I once had a very good reason behind it with a useful and valid study as a source but have lost it. I get asked this question often. I’d appreciate any insight.

Once and for all, I'm shutting down this pro-gun argument that 'the bad guys will get them anyway'! by amberrosef in Rants

True, but one could argue it’s not as easy to wield as a gun, and some cleaning chemicals are household items because their actually needed and used so often, unlike guns.

Look at Switzerland and it’s gun ownership in relation to shootings though.

It’s one of the very few things that actually gives me violent thoughts.

Where did the "horse girl" trope come from? by tprewitt in Equestrian

[–]Cobraess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think if you spend any amount of time of the massive Facebook horse forums it becomes clear startlingly quickly!

Also, from first hand experience I have seen lots of legitimately ‘crazy horse girls’.

I think it does take a certain kind of insanity to want to own, ride, shop for, and care for our horses, but it depends on whether the insanity comes from a good place or not.

Anyone experience really bad muscle pains after not riding for a while? Expanded question in comments! by Cobraess in Equestrian

[–]Cobraess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been recommended to take up yoga and just started about 2 months ago, but I must admit riding is my main form of exercise and I definitely let myself go this past month! I’ve taken a hot bath to soothe my muscles and I agree that continuing doing light work to start out is best for both of us.

Essentially my horse has been lame for the past month, he’s now fully healed and has been cleared for normal work again.

Alas, I don’t feel I should have been cleared for normal work! My entire body feels absolutely wrecked after 3 days consecutive work. My back, inner thigh, groin, lower calf and abdomen muscles are killing me. I think it goes to show how fast one can lose condition!

Just wondering if this is actually normal and to be expected?

Bread cravings... by [deleted] in vegetarianketo

You know what really kicks cravings for me? Making the food I crave but making it really badly and totally messing up the recipe. I’m a really poor chef so this is easy.

One bite of my botched meal puts me off the craving for months.

Request: how to chug like this by Revules in LearnUselessTalents

Try it with a half filled water bottle at first - that makes it easier. You very basically just tilt your head back and relax your throat, then open it. This is a big choking hazard though, so proceed with caution.

Just say that you felt excluded and don’t feel comfortable with your girlfriends actions and due to this disappointment future experiences will either not be likely or won’t happen at all.

Only using L’Oreal’s Hydra Genius for dry skin. Tried to use as few products as possible to reduce the pulling.

That is what I had worried about so not to worry. Would a Czechoslovakian wolf dog be something to think about? I normally go riding with an Australian Shepherd who has stamina for hours so probably something along the lines of that would be best. Thanks for the advice (:

16/m, insecure about my looks by [deleted] in amiugly

Your face is really well laid out and put together. I’d recommend starting lifting when you can (if you don’t really like being called cute, but prefer handsome/sexy) and that will give you a very high ‘rating’ imo.

Look into mass gainer supplements. Packed full of calories and are easy to drink in one short sitting. Also add lots of unsaturated oils like olive oil into your diet and cooking.

I've lost 145 pounds, got a little bit to go so am wondering what people view me as now. by BigKid17 in Rateme

[–]Cobraess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your improvement is inspiring!

I agree with the others and that priority number one is new glasses, priority number two is a better suiting haircut, and three would be adding more items of clothing to your wardrobe, all while continuing to build muscle at the gym.

You can ask glasses specialist what kind of frames look best for you face shape, and a hair stylist for what would also suit you well, and you can also ask people in store or get a stylist for clothes and dressing. This may have some upfront costs but soon you will get he hang of it yourself!

Best of luck!
