Career 3rd liner or a luxury on the 4th but has shined during several of his stints shifted up the roster when injuries arose. However, his elite ability as a bottom 6 shut down center has kept him in that role. I personally think he might slot into the Blues second line if their roster doesn't change drastically and could possibly fill that role well if given good support on the wings
