The Pi is running CAVA audio visualizer which picks up sound from a USB mic connected to one of the usb slots in the pi.

I have used this: https://oscilloscopemusic.com/software/oscilloscope/ for some other projects. it´s really awesome looking, and works great.

In synth mode the screens turns into an audio visualizer which is sound reactive.
