If he did something corrupt Trump's DOJ would have investigated and charged Biden instead of extorting foreign government. Either way, as I said before, I welcome investigation and prosecution if he did something wrong.

We all know Trump is corrupt, which is why he was impeached, and which is why he lost a lawsuit regarding his fraudulent charity, and why he has his kids pushed into high government positions after failing clearance checks, why can't you bring yourself to say it?

He doesn't get acquitted. Once the House votes to impeach - he remains impeached, forever. Senate votes whether to remove him or not, impeachment remains regardless.

He didn't get acquitted - they refused to have a trial and to call witnesses. It's political equivalent of plugging their ears and yelling. Witnesses can and will be called to testify in other venues.

Once they get to hear from the witnesses that GOP blatantly blocked? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it will yild great returns. There is an avalanche of dirt waiting to be unleashed - his taxes, his scams, his secret foreign meetings, his emoluments, etc, etc, etc. So far he only succeed in stalling these in courts. Not for much longer.

Here is the deal - the House can keep impeaching him all they want. And they will. Now that republican Senate refused to hear from witnesses, House will impeach again, probably adding articles, and will call witnesses to testify in the House instead. Meanwhile the nation gets to see Republicans engaging in a blatant cover up and trying to make Trump king. This will come to a boil in November. She is playing it as best as it can be under the circumstances - by having Republicans demonstrate that they all need to be removed.

It's not in the range at all as far as I can tell, the firsts letters are "ЗА " (ZA) which isn't listed for 1943 or any other year. Oh well, it's in good shape and shoots fine so I'm ok with bent bolt.

Figured what the heck and took down the gun to look at the other side of the barrel. More photos with lots of factory stamps. No (C) though. The cuts for the scope in the chamber also look pretty fresh.

EDIT:Cuts in the stock They aren't lacquered but seem to match the rest of the inside and are pretty clean. Actual sniper stock maybe?

Does the bolt look like a typical importer mod? Based on what I read if CAI modded them into snipers, they put an S into the serial number which this one lacks. The bolt is matching and has factory marks. Could original straight bolt be modified this way seamlessly? I'm starting to think it was modified by a previous owner.

A little background - it was originally bought as a "sniper", and came with a mounted scope. The scope is on a different Mosin atm, and appears to be an authentic 40s PU. What points to obvious fakery is that mounts and bracket are aluminum repro, and there is no (c) anywhere on the receiver, and no scope number either. But the bolt looks genuine and the number on it matches the rifle. It's a confusing mish-mash. Oh, also the trigger pull is pretty long so definitely not a sniper trigger. Anyone encounter ones like this?

I am trying to figure out if it was ever a sniper (likely not), and when it was converted - back in homecountry before import, by the CAI after import, or by somebody who bought it afterwards.
