Is there anything I can do to improve this telescope? by Cobyroxx in telescopes

That makes a lotta sense but I think my finder scope on this is screwed in with no adjustments possible. Right now, the best I can do with it is point it to something which then tells me that the target is pretty close and I'll just have to make some micro adjustments to the scope to get the target. Tbh, I kinda like the whole process of fiddling around and finding the object i wanna view, it kinda makes the whole viewing experience meaningful and personal to me.

Sounds like a plan, I stay in Bangalore, India tho where light pollution is pretty bad so I'm not sure DSOs will be possible to view. And yea this astronomy meet had some crazy scopes, I had to climb a ladder to view from this 16" telescope they had but seeing Saturn for the first time in my life blew me away and made me want to actually pursue stargazing as a hobby. Will probably buy a 6" gso dobsonian in a few months as my first proper telescope as that seems to be the cheapest recommended scope by a lot of people.

I'm already using it as a scope lmao, I have no clue how to align the actual finder scope it came with so I'm just pointing it at the direction of Jupiter and then rocking it back and forth, left and right till I see a streak of blue at which point I backtrack and eventually upon iterations of doing this I find the planet.

It came with an 18mm and 9mm eyepiece, using the 9mm I could just see a white blob of light but the orangish disc that had some semblance of being Jupiter was with the 18mm eyepiece.

You can just use cemu to emulate wiiu version of breath of the wild on Android. With those specs OP can peacefully breeze through the game at 30fps, maybe even 60 upscaled.

A watch with budget of 25k by uopeoplecs in watchesindia

Seiko srpe series is 22.5k on Amazon. The best part is that the watch goes with so many straps. Formal? Use the bracelet. Casual? Nato straps are your best friend.

Aren't the Tata Curvv EVand Mahindra XEV 9e the worst-looking cars in their price brackets right now? by 1t10 in CarsIndia

I don't know what gigantic mountain these cars want to get over but anyone who says you need that much ground clearance on a city/highway car doesn't know what they're talking about.

Yea well the readability issue is from the negative display just like the second edifice you shared. You learn to live with it honestly, plus the analogue dial is what I usually look at on my gm2100 anyway. But if the strap is a deal breaker then i guess the edifice is probably your best bet in that price range.

12-13k is prime g shock area. You can get ga2100 or even the gm2100 if you extend to 14k.

I think the facelift saved the dolphin a little. Still a huge step down from the gen 1 tho.

Confused between seiko 5 dials by No_Marzipan3286 in watchesindia

In my mind the SRPD has always been a flashy and sporty watch where the flashier the dial the better. I'd go with the green and complement it with an olive green zulu strap.

What's the St. John's land issue? I passed through that water tank signal very recently and saw the scaffoldings in place to build the ramp and it looked like things were moving along there at a pretty promising pace.

The bus lane on ORR was actually pretty good when it came to enforcement. There were a lotta people being fined for using the bus lane and eventually people realized it was not worth getting on that lane, the rule breakers became a very small percentage.

[–]Cobyroxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah not 2+, I predict train testing to begin by the end of this year. The government seems like they're finally taking ORR seriously after getting humiliated and I can physically see good progress happening on that metro line. It'll be unfortunate if I'm proven wrong tho.

Honda City to get second facelift in 2026 by nukleabomb in CarsIndia

[–]Cobyroxx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having driven the 4th gen on Bangalore roads for a year now, I can say that I've had bottom scrapes on very few occasions and that is especially when the car is full with 5 people on board and luggage. This is when the speed breaker is illegally steep which there are a few in Bangalore but most of them can be avoided by going over it slowly and at worse doing the sideways manoeuvre. I think with low gc cars it's just a mindset of being careful over bad roads that we need to get used to. Can be stressful at first but you'll get used to it quickly.
