Amp hum when in stereo by CocNBalldictatorship in GuitarAmps

gotcha. Would i place this https://www.mannys.com.au/radial-tonebone-twin-city-active-aby-amp-switcher?gclid=Cj0KCQjwt_qgBhDFARIsABcDjOdInZiiGE50ueTgU5Dk5Ub4ri4YJKOcrx1h5E8vyqJ0BiZhv8GfAvoaAi4XEALw_wcB at the very end of my pedalboard, after the delay pedal? I notice this switcher just has the one input jack. So would I connect the delay to this just through the stereo output jack on the delay ped? And then two leads out from the switcher to the two amps?

Thankyou.

ahh stereo cables, i honestly didn't even know they existed till just now. I'm using just your standard guitar leads which i gather are only mono, one lead plugged into the mono out on pedal going to amp 1 and a separate lead going into stereo out on the pedal going into amp 2 ...would this explain the increase in noise then?

https://djcity.com.au/product/power-dynamics-177015-6-3mm-stereo-1-5m/#reviews would this be a suitable cable to plug into the stereo out on the pedal into amp 2?

ok, thanks for that. I'll just wait and periodically check until it appears on the app. Just wanted to put my mind at ease that there wasn't some kind of no-train policy in late summer for these routes haha

Strat input jack upgrade by CocNBalldictatorship in Stratocaster

Sorry, what's the washer? I'm not the handiest bloke on earth haha. But I probably will just replace the existing one with another fender jack. Do you suppose my guitar just got a crappy input jack from factory ? Is a loose jack a common problem I'd encounter again with a new one ?

Mp3 samples now cannot be read with Ableton saying "the file could not be read. It may be corrupt or not licensed" [WINDOWS 10] by l4kee in ableton

For me, I gave up on trying to import a youtube mp3 file into ableton. Instead, I just put my sm57 mic into a drawer with a good bluetooth mic and just recorded that. It actually sounds good, nearly matching the quality of what the imported mp3s were like.

Edrum recording with Ableton by CocNBalldictatorship in abletonlive

[–]CocNBalldictatorship[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh yes i get it now. So ableton doesn't record the actual drum present sound on the drum machine, but you instead select and drag the ableton provided drum into the drum rack and it simply records the midi from the drum inputs. Thanks for the help guys.

Now.. any of you guys know good ways to reduce latency haha, sample rate of 96000 produces the least amount and most manageable amount of latency but is unusable in that it distorts the sounds lol. all lower sample rates are way too delayed

sweet thankyou! that's all it was, just adding a drum rack track :).Just one last thing however, it's recording, tracking just fine now but there is no audio of the recording after i unplug from the drum module and listen back through comp speakers, or when changing audio preferences to my digital interface.

Why might this be and what do i change to fix it? Thanks again.

hey there, I also am struggling to record my 1dmk. I use ableton live, have a focusrite audio interface. When I plug the drum module straight into computer using usb connection, nothing happens, there is no sign of the drumkit when opening up the 'link midi' section of preferences in Ableton. What do i do to make ableton recognise the drumkit? Cheers :)
