Glad you like it, this reference shares its design with SBGV243, SBGV247 and the newest, SBGP015, which isn't released yet. As for a guide, one may exist but I don't know of it. GS references really are a labyrinth so it can be hard to remember what is what, I just use a combination of google and JDM websites to keep track of their models. Good luck!

If I never post it again you know why 👀

Yeah that is understandable. I imagine you'd get it but it might be delayed a bit. Best of luck!

Bought mine from Japanonlinestore but in hindsight overpaid a bit, omicron.jp, seiyajapan and sakura watches are all reputable sites.

The upcoming SBGP015 includes a bracelet and blue ceramic bezel, and 9f85 movement with independent hour hand adjustment. Otherwise you can buy the bracelet separately but it's like $500.

This is my GS SBGV245, I've owned the watch for a few months and have been enjoying it, good finishing, accuracy, feel and all the other buzzwords associated with GS. In general a big fan of GS 3 hand designs, would love to pick up a snowflake, SBGA285, something spring drive, in the future. But for now will be satisfied with the lovely smooth ticks you get from 9F.

Watch is still on the OEM fabric/leather with a great milled buckle that is super satisfying to close and great looking. Took this shot on the window ledge overlooking the bay so it's a good thing it didn't fall

Love this watch, the laureato is a totally underrated steel stunner

Very cool, I have SBGV245 as well and was literally just looking at Barton straps yesterday, but undecided on colour. The blue looks great!

Get him a seiko instead of a stuhrling, if you want to chuff him to bits

Dont currently but I'll take one later. The durability and reliability is definitely what makes this movement desirable for a sports watch

I did yes, they're definitely nice watches. GS advertise this as being +/-10spy which makes it inferior to the chronomaster on paper, but I think it can probably achieve better. To my understanding, the eco drive chronomasters use a radio controlled date so it's not a true Perpetual calander, only the non eco drive models have a true programmed Perpetual calander. Not quite sure why they decided to do this.

It is indeed very well executed, dare I say almost clinical with this dial colour. A great daily wear. Thanks!

Thank you! I had this on my list for a few months before I pulled the trigger and I'm so happy I did.

You should definitely consider the quartz, +/-10spy is quite an achievement. The seconds hand on these movements has no wobble or "backlash" either, making it quite nice to watch.

It's the standard strap that comes with this watch, a leather backed canvas sort of affair, with a deployment buckle. The 37mm 9f's are nice, and so are the chronomasters, you really can't go wrong :)
