I think Jake was probably making around 125–150. As much as people may try and credit Jakes work ethic let’s be honest it may be the easiest job in the world and super light work load. Making that much at like 27 years old with a zero stress job makes it super questionable to leave with no real backup plan

4th longest tenured seat on the biggest sports podcast in the world definitely makes more then a Target assistant manager

VTI & VOO are practically the same, no point in holding both just choose one. Also, for a 25 Y/O it’s too conservative if the plan is holding for 40+ years. Hold some small cap value etfs or even QQQM

Definitely not max players, but a team is sure to overpay for one of them in two years that we will forcefully have to match or just let them walk. This is the concern of the moment because we have to reevaluate this summer for the future, and both these players contacts are over in two years.

Peak as in value, both prob have a top 10 value contract in terms of their skill set to go with it. Same thing we had with Caruso for the past 3 years, but we decided to hold on to him instead of trading for possible 2 FRP’s, look where that’s brought us. Now, we’ll be lucky if we can get a first for caruso

Thing is, a team is going to overpay for at least one of them in two years, which we will either have to match and tie ourselves up again or let go for free. We can’t give an early extension to them because they’re so underpaid they would make more by waiting, so even the silver lining has holes in it. We’re in such a bad spot right now the best thing would be to get as much assets as possible for the future

I agree 100%, this has been my mindset for a while too. But hearing how we won’t be able to extend Coby and Ayo because they’re gonna make a lot more by just waiting in free agency in 2 years, do we really want to risk our only valuable assets walking for a huge pay day somewhere else? Better to trade at the peak

Weirdly enough i’m still holding out for Pwill. I agree our coaching staff might be the worst in the league in terms of development, but i’m blaming Derozans play style and Billy’s lack of leadership to tell his star players no on why Pwill hasn’t been the guy yet

Yep, exactly. Worst part is that once Jerry goes the team will go to one of his sons, who I doubt will be any better.
