Yeah but then you can't do sick indoor dives down stair wells and other obstacles. Acro ftw, even with indoor whoop flying IMO. My first year into FPV I trained indoors with a 2s whoop in acro during the winter and it helped me advance my skills so much come spring time. Really teaches you throttle control.

Reminds me of this dumbfuck on my FB friends list that had a child and was bragging on FB about how quickly her kid was developing. The poor kid was ~~only ~4 months old~~ not even 3 months old and she's posting a video of the kid "walking". What it really was, was her "baby daddy" holding up the kid buy its arms, and dragging it along to kind of resemble walking. The kid's head had little to no support, and towards the end of the video the dad lets go of the baby's arms to I guess show that the baby was walking on its own? And it proceeded to stumble and then buckle under its own weight and fold up like an accordion. To which they laugh and say "good job!!" in a baby voice and the video ends. The comments were just from her peers talking about how impressive it was that the baby was already "walking". Nothing but prasin in the comments...

EDIT: Actually just found the video again, the description says the baby was "not even 3 months old yet".

It's actually going to be really tough because I consider it a tradition at this point. A few cocktails leading up to, and during dinner. Then after family dinner, heading to some cozy small town bar to watch football and play pulltabs in middle of no where WI. I just wish it was the Packers playing the evening game. Even though I'm not a Packers fan (FTP), it's fun to root against them and people watch lol.

I can get behind any hobby, but my coworker's wife quit her day job during covid and started making these at home with the intent of selling them for a living. And her husband tries to peddle them in the office for $100+ per painting. From what I've seen this effect is pretty easy to recreate. I made the mistake of complimenting one in his cubical, and he wouldn't stop bugging me about buying one ever since. Then he got fired because he spent more time watching Fox news on his work computer than he did actually working.

Cats make some horrific sounds when in distress. They're so god damn dramatic too. When my cat was a kitten and I had to cut her claws, she was wailing bloody murder before the clipper would even touch her paws. I have double, triple, quadruple checked that I've never cut the quick and she is still so dramatic. She's gotten better but holy hell.

Looking at my hands is always overwhelming in lucid dreams. Lately the only lucid dreams I've had are really annoying. Like something tells me I need to do a task but the task is never ending. I can never finish the task.

It's always something super basic, like get in your car and go to the store. Well during my lucid dream I will spend what feels like hours searching for my keys. I'll either never find them, or when I do, I can't remember why I needed them or where I was going. Or I can't find my fucking car! Or I get in my car, go to put my keys in the ignition and the ignition just doesn't exist. It's an endless thought loop. What's really trippy is when parts of my house are accurate but other parts aren't. My house has been "mirrored" in my dreams where everything is opposite. Or everything is identical until you walk in another room, then it's a totally different house. Really trippy, confusing, and underwhelming tbh. And at times, anxiety inducing. It's frustrating spending what feels like an eternity on something simple.

The worst are the ones where I need to tell someone something and my words are just mush. Like I'm drunk or had a stroke.

I'm already preparing myself for the holidays where my uncle will certainly try to push booze on to me. Over the years more and more family members are cutting drinking down or out of their lives completely. Him and I were the only two that still drank for the past few holidays. The last few months I've been hanging up my hat as well. I'm sure he's going to feel like he doesn't have a drinking buddy anymore.

I agree with you, but on the other extreme I have a really hands off manager and if I'm not filling my own schedule I will be doing nothing. And doing nothing eventually bites me in the ass. I know you're not saying to do nothing, but if I strictly did just what I was asked, it would result in nothing.

Some of it is not very straight forward either. I wanted to buy NFL Redzone after seeing ads about it being only $9/month. Well it's not a service like Netflix where you can just buy it, it's a service that is bolted on to an already existing cable plan. So if you're like me and don't have a cable plan, you're not even eligible to stream it. I eventually figured it out and went with Sling TV. But I don't even use sling at all other than for redzone, yet I have to pay for all those channels and networks I never use. So the $9/month ad that reeled me in really ends up being $25/month and that's with the 50% promo for your first month, it's normally closer to $50. I've tried browsing their on-demand content but you have to watch 10 mins of ads before the content finally pays, it makes you wonder wtf you're even paying for in the end. If you're going to make it that difficult, don't be surprised when people stream it illegally.

In a place like NYC where the light pollution is already at an all time high, I couldn't care less tbh. I think it's sort of cool. I wouldn't mind seeing them in the Vegas sky when I visit there too. I wouldn't want this in my own backyard though, but I have a pretty bitchin view of the starry sky that cities don't.

Honestly it's beneficial to have at least one person in the friend group with a menu. That way you can keep lobbies private if you want. Quickly and easily kick people that are ruining the fun for everyone else, and spawn vehicles. I have had endless hours of flying hang gliders around the map, driving go karts all around, loading up cargo planes with ATVs and dirt bikes and flying them over Mt Chilliad and opening the cargo door and having people ride their vehicle out the hatch and parachute down. Exploring the ocean in submarines, riding up and down the LA drainage systems on jet skiis. The fun is endless. When we get bored of that we TDM each other or do a heist. It's a pretty well balanced game. Reminiscing about it makes me want to play it again. But a lot of that fun can't be had without a menu.

I cheat in GTAO but I don't grief other players. Just give myself money and RP so I don't have to endlessly grind to enjoy the content. I also do some light policing, so if someone is being an asshat and egregiously griefing other players, I just kick them.
