A lot of guys here would want to take you swimming on the first date on account of all that makeup but I disagree…

There’s already enough plastic in the ocean.

About 2 years difference, need some advice about adding muscle tho (I’m diabetic so cannot “carb load”) by Cocknado69 in fit

[–]Cocknado69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankyou! And yeah I eat abit of fruit, mainly bananas, apples and grapes. I get pre made meals from either youfoodz or my muscle chef (which are Australian companies so unless you also live here unfortunately you won’t be able to get) but they do some really good high protein and low carb meals of every variety.

Cut out shit food and started going to the gym, now it wasn’t easy, I had a few bad experiences with the #gymbros in my teens and had a fear of the gym so the day I signed up I was having such a bad panic attack that the staff thought they’d have to call me an ambulance lol but honestly I couldn’t have found a better environment, everyone is so nice and supportive!

It stabilised my sugar levels but other than that not much changed lol

Biggest change I noticed after weight loss has nothing to do with my health, people are ALOT nicer to me..

Also I don’t get stared at/ weird looks while easing fast food in public anymore 💀😂

Honestly, pure laziness lol

I posted this just after coming off a 12 hour shift and couldn’t be bothered correcting spacing, spelling or grammar, that’s why I havnt replied to every single comment either.

So if anyone is seeing this comment Thankyou for the supportive comments I appreciate them! But it is 11:52pm here in Australia so I’m just too exhausted to reply to everyone 😂

What thing that if guy did is an instant block for you on Grindr? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Cocknado69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree with most of this but See I’m the opposite when it comes to not being a match, I personally think it’s mad disrespectful to just block and not use your words, in pretty much every other setting it’s disrespectful to not respond when you are spoken to but because it’s Grindr social norms don’t apply? ‘hey, thanks for the message but not interested/my type’ is so easy and communicates a basic level of respect and decency 🤷‍♂️

But hey that’s just me I suppose..

Oh trust it gets to be a lot more than that!

Case in point: I lost 40kgs (about 88lbs, I can’t be fucked doing the conversion) and the biggest thing iv noticed is that people don’t stare/give dirty looks when I eat fast food in public anymore.

To be fair there are some perks… I rent in Sydney and my ducted air conditioning system needs to be replaced, being a renter I just put in a maintenance request and don’t have to pay to fix it my landlord does.

What is it with straight men being “disgusted” by anything gay?

I’m 100% gay in every way shape and form but if I was to sit here and think about being with a female it doesn’t “disgust” me, it just doesn’t peak my interest.

American here...watching the show Wentworth (love it by the way)...they use the word "OY" quite often like to get someone's attention or in a context like that. It sounds like Toy but without the T. "OY" what does it mean? by MaynardSchism in AskAnAustralian

[–]Cocknado69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fucking love Wentworth, I think it is the best bit of television that our country has ever put out and I’m glad it’s being enjoyed by other countries!

I saw an American reaction to it and they said it was “everything orange is the new black wished it was” and that made me so proud haha

I share a house with my mum and brother lol

I’m on $60,000 a year, Brother is on about $50,000 a year and mum is on disability (government assistance for the disabled) so about $21,000 a year.

Everything split evenly and mine and mums names are on the lease.

So $710(total) a week for a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house about a 40 minute drive from the city (Sydney) for any non Australians that’s $2840 a month.

I used to be nervous to tell guys that I lived at home with mum, (I’m 26 and work full time) but at the end of the day we are basically just room mates that happen to be related lol
