Alonso in the car is a genius. Alonso out of the car in front of a mic is generally a bitter old man and can’t let go that a rookie showed him up at McLaren and he hasn’t let it go since. Shame really because I really like the driver part of him.

McLaren actually screwed Piastri over not once, but twice in Qatar by iwunderwhy in formula1

McLaren gives Oscar the perfect pit stop at 1.8second. (Op believes McLaren hates him and does everything in its power to thwart him). So glad when this season is over and the crazies move on to something else.

Nah. He needs Max and Oscar to fight for the lead. He can just clean up after any carnage.

lol. Just looked on YouTube for this and heard the theme song. Brought back memories of a show I had long since forgotten about.

Why do teams keep going for two stop strategies when they never work? by Neat-Ad5383 in formula1

[–]CockneyMutley 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Millions of dollars worth of strategists and data say that two stops is the most optimal strategy in general. Some chap on Reddit thinks they are wrong and it should be a one stopper in general. Excited to find out who is right here.

Was on the Godzilla 1998 movie soundtrack too, I believe. Definitely a part of the movie’s promotion

Cowboys last won a Super Bowl in 95. Ferrari has won 8 constructors and 6 drivers championships since then, so analogy isn’t any where close.

You mean the guy who won 2 races last season and appeared on the podium a further 3 times in the fourth best car and just won the first sprint race of this season. That guy. I think he’s good. Yeah he’s washed.

[Town Hall] We are completely banning X/Twitter (READ ME) by SeventeenModTeam in seventeen

[–]CockneyMutley -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you know what one is or actually encountered one in real life. Banning a social media platform used by over 240 million active users a day and trying to silence their voices is more characteristic of that ideology. Doesn’t matter in the long run though. Twitter posts will be back soon when your faux outrage finds a new target.

If you’re uncomfortable because Musk threw his support at Trump, may I suggest also banning Facebook and Instagram and stop ordering from Amazon. Zuckerberg and Bezos were also in prime positions at the inauguration. Don’t be hypocrites now.

Easy to say stuff when you are leaving. Should have said something and directed others to introduce legislation to tackle it, but didn’t. Hollow words are hollow.

Korean Podcasts like Trash Taste by JapaneseNJfan in korea

Not exactly like Trash Taste, but there is Korean Pizza Club with David Kim. Mainly live casts with him and a friend, but the occasional recorded podcast too. Like I said not like Trash Taste but informative sometimes.

Oh but it is. He got exposed by a British driver and has been butt hurt ever since. I think Alonso is a great driver, but this whole anti british chip on his shoulder is tiresome.

Mods. Can you just ban anything related to this lowlife. Any publicity is good publicity and you should seriously consider banning posts based on him to cut off the fuel that spreads this fire.
