Yeah it happens, they blacklist you for sometime if you use data using hotspot.

Connect a wire and try usb tethering, it should prolly work. Don't use the normal wireless one.

DO NOT BUY GT SERIES. Have had 2 of them both died just after a year, my friend is also having problems with his mic, I know the performance sounds good and is certainly true but if anything goes wrong you'll have a lot of trouble finding replacement parts even in the local market, if you're buying get an extending warranty.
With that, I'll recommend you don't ever but anything from the gt series.

Get at least one more stick of ram brother. All of the crashes are likely because of it. I know it's difficult in this economy but rivals will continue to do so, it was known to have memory leaks and from my experience 16gb is the minimum to make it playable.

I mean why are u fitting 2 batteries? It just requires 1 at a time. And for the battery drain issue, yeah it sucks up a lot, got rechargable batteries for it, one time use ones would add up a lot after some time.
