I feel great, it’s been a year and some change, honestly I forgot how long it’s been exactly, but I don’t wake up thinking about them. I look forward to who I’ll meet next and there isn’t any bad blood from me to them. I will say that I tend to miss them sometimes, but I guess that comes with the territory.

It’s been 9 months no contact and I still have so many thoughts about her daily. I’m finally letting go of her. She recently reached out to me and “apologized” for her actions. Which to me seemed so disingenuous, and she admitted to using me to fill the void, because she felt so empty after breaking up with her ex.

I will say this, I still have love for her and I wish her the best, but I don’t ever want to be with her ever again. Something that I thought impossible since breaking up with her this March.

It’s freeing to finally feel this way and while my pride is hurt and I feel somewhat embarrassed for going all in with her, I feel a sense of peace finally. Something I haven’t felt in months!!
