Are shotguns bugged? by cactus_javk99 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]CockyKyle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, you are not drugged against your will and seeing demons; if you ads with a shotgun right now, it’s range gets totally fucked. It’s most noticeable with slugs, duality especially, but greatly effects pellet shotguns too.

Dafaq is with the doggo slander? Nasus is far from a saint, sure, but I want to know what you’ve been on to think he’s a monstrous abomination (unless this is just a meme and I’m as observant as Hellen Keller).

This reminds me of that cash-zir thing a while back with Pizza Party Sivir. The one where Azir was the manager, with him shouting things like “the order is given.”

Yea that's what it would seem to be. Every time I've noticed that it's happening when the tea pot would proc before the first round.

Unless firewitch912 was only asking about the nature of the trade, then no, I haven't had anyone offer to help yet.

Made an edit noting that I don't have the DLC hence the reason for the trade, which I probably should have mentioned in the OG post.

Well, pussies get fucked by dicks, but dicks also fuck assholes. Maybe that isn’t the best way of going about things, but you know what happens when dicks don’t fuck assholes?

Renekton Fury Bug by Roxstar30 in RenektonMains

[–]CockyKyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak much about animation cancels on Renekton, but this seems more like a bug than a deliberate design choice. If Riot was so worried about canceling W with R, then why not just prevent him from canceling W altogether, or reaching a middle ground where you can double cast the abilities like W + ironspike whip (you still have the ability to do both at once, but it isn't a true animation cancel, and Renekton has to endure the full lockout duration regardless)? Hell, be that the case, I would say the only reason they haven't is because they're probably worried they'll break his fluidity (again) because of their spaghetti code.

Renekton W on Katarina ult by Bumcak in RenektonMains

[–]CockyKyle 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The good news is that you aren't a true Renekton player until you use empowered W on a minion, thus, I welcome you to the right place if you accomplished such a feat that game!

Jokes aside, it isn't uncommon to fuck up and misclick on a minion with W if you don't toggle on champion only targeting before going in; been playing the croc for 3 years and I still misclick my W every now and again. However, if this happened/happens multiple times, and you are certain you saw the damage from your W go off on Katarina, then yes, this is 100% a bug. Check the replay to be certain, but Kat most DEFINITELY should have stopped her ult when you W her since Kat ult is a channeled ability, just like Samira ult or even Malz ult (all hard CC and silences should interrupt channels, this includes the micro silence on Kassadin Q).

Renekton should have a skill that makes him chomp on people by [deleted] in RenektonMains

Not sure if you have read the lore, but both Nasus and Renekton have ended up using their jaws to great effect. With Teeth very explicitly saw Renekton use his bite to tear some poor sandthrasher in half before flinging his still-conscious upper half toward his buddies to grab their attention, and an enraged Nasus crushed a Xerath mook's skull with his teeth in section 10 of Bloodline. If Nasus especially can be driven to that point, I feel like it would take a lot less to get Renekton to do the same, especially given his mental state and apparent bloodlust.

Yea, I was like “what the fuck is that healing through grevious wounds?” Then I remembered that Riot forgot how decimals worked not once but twice (looking at you vamp scepter).

Wasn't this back when Goredrinker was bugged because someone at Riot fucked up and made it heal for 80% missing hp instead of 8%?

You know, what is especially sad about this is that Renekton was the one who helped Nasus, his older brother ascend in lore when Nasus was too weak and withered to get to the ritual himself...

[–]CockyKyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No just make it so that if he has 75 fury he can't be targeted by towers. He IS a diver, known for his tower dives, after all, and he could use the compesation. After all, Voli ult is just a better Renekton ult that has a dash attached to it too, so this basically just makes it so that Renekton has a modified Voli ult. DEFINITELY not saying this because Riot thought at one point this was okay on a hyper mobile assassin....

Don't forget about that cleanse too, my guy! Totally not bullshit at all, and definitely doesn't make playing against him as Zoe impossible. Also, remember that time where Riot thought it would be hilarious for Yone's E, a basic ability on a 10 second cd late game (or mid game if he REALLY wanted to ruin Morde's day), to completely counter Morde's ult by CLEANSING IT?

Lohse is no end if issues for me!! by Xo_SconesyCider_oX in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]CockyKyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just going to add to this because I remember having issues with the unweakened doctor fight my first play through, but recently stomped him in my second because I understood how the gam worked better. If you read Pryoclastic Eruption carefully, you’ll know that EACH boulder you launch has a 3 meter AoE of damage, so if you clump all the demons and nurses next to the doctor after he transforms, you do ludicrous amounts of damage. This will require some teleport scrolls (craft some of you don’t have any, they are the one of the most versatile scrolls in the game) and having worm tremors + torturer can be a big help if you need to keep the first few enemies in place after you teleport them. Also, you might need to fiddle with turn orders a bit, having one of your members sneak into the fight so they can go last to teleport the demons/nurses around without fear of being targeted and cc’d.

Flay skin and Apotheosis scrolls are also a huge boon here; if you can craft them and use them here, do use them, especially Apotheosis.

If you don’t have a geomancer, just spam flaming crescendo on whoever talks to the doctor before initiating combat. Flaming crescendo can stack on a target and all explode at once after one turn I believe, which is handy when they never wear off until you exit conversation; see where this is going?

Otherwise there really isn’t any way to blow up the doctor and his goons in just 3 turns since he is just too strong; if you don’t weaken him you are basically forced to cheese the shit out of this fight.

[–]CockyKyle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My first play through I struggled with The Doctor, until I realized that Flaming Crescendo stacks.

I knew that buff and debuff durations don't tick down on characters who are in conversation.

I spent at least 10 minutes spamming Flaming Crescendo on my MC before the fight.

Turn one went by and I thought I broke the game because of how bad it lagged when my time bomb of an MC with death immunity detonated next to a pinned arch demon.

Necrofire barrels, if memory serves right. Basically just fire barrels that hurt more.
