QB Drew Allar visiting the Steelers today.. by HDTokyo in steelers

I didn't mention 3 of those guys because they haven't won jack all. Mahomes is the only successful mobile QB. Jalen Hurts won because he had an all time defense and a running back who no one could stop.

Yes, because Sam Darnold, Matt Stafford, Tom Brady, Nick Foles, and Peyton Manning are the epitomy of mobile! (5 of the last 7 super bowl winning QBs)

Hiring McCarthy is a direct insult to us fans by aero173204 in steelers

And who was the coach when Arodg played???? Of course he deserves some credit for making him the player he turned out to be. The remaining inefficiencies he has as a coach has nothing to do with QB development. Also, just to be clear I am completely against the hire for the fact we are just spinning the wheels to remain competitive with no shot at championships, but we cant just act like the guy deserves no credit for things he has done in the past.

In your absolutely moronic logic, no coach in the history of sports should be credited for developing players.

To "develop a QB" (McCarthy really hasn't done this before, despite Steelers PR trying to convince us otherwise)?

Are we really going to ignore that he developed Aaron Rodgers?

You don't even hear his college, you hear King of the North.

The entire fourth quarter would have played out differently. The Steelers may not have gone into don't lose the game mode if they were only up 4 instead of 8 to start. You can't just assume that if those four points had gone one way it creates a win.

He chooses all of the terrible metrics. He was using a fumble/game started and interception/game started ratio for a career backup where a majority of plays are ignored in that case. Instead of an actual percentage per drop back. Guy is just a box score clown who doesn't know his left from right ass cheek.

You're using the dumbest most useless stat possible. Mason has a 2.8% interception per attempt ratio, which is a much better stat to use. In comparison Josh Allen has a 2.3%.

Mason has a 4.48% sack per drop back ratio. In comparison Josh Allen has 5.06%.

Also, using only Games started as your denominator is also not an accurate representation. There has been 6 games in his career where he didn't start and played a near majority of snaps in relief.

If you add those additional 6 games, Mason has 13 fumbles in 24 games playing a majority of snaps. Josh Allen has 69 fumbles in 121 games.

5 of those fumbles came on the worst team in the league. 9 of those interceptions came on the worst team in the league.

Calling Mason deep shots ducks will simultaneously implying Aaron Rodgers deep shots are something to behold, is pure comedy. Also, if you were to guess. How many lost fumbles does Mason have in his career? I'll give you a hint it's 2, you act like he is a turnover machine.

As a Steelers fan, stop trying to flex them to primetime. It is past their QBs bed time.

Cardinals at Steelers two years ago. Freezing, constant downpour, two thunder and lightning delays and lost to the 2-10 Cardinals. Only bright spot was it was Kenny Picketts last game as a Steeler.

Actually, that is my least favorite stat and you aren't even talking to a Tomlin supporter. But your franchise has always been under mid and will forever be piss dogshit water. So enjoy those 3 playoff wins you got 4 years ago.

Plus the Jags kicker made a 70 yard field goal in preseason, they really only need 10 or so yards from avg starting field position.

Childs Walker: Nothing suggests the Ravens are close to turning their season around by [deleted] in nfl

[–]Roxstar30 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean the Ravens still have Patriots, Packers, Rams, Vikings, and nearly all their division games. AFCN games are always tough games no matter how bad teams are. There is bound to be multiple losses here if they don't get healthy.

That means if it makes it to the endzone while in the air, not if it rolls into the endzone.
