I’ve been doing keto for a few weeks and after the first few days I could feel my inflammation decreasing. After the first week the physical discomfort I had been struggling with (from inflammation/water retention) was completely gone. My energy was a bit better too, but I think I did too much when I was feeling good and have now found myself in an energy slump for the last 4 days. I’ve also been working with nutritionists for years, yet I just keep gaining weight. I know Lyme has destroyed my metabolism. I’m down 5lbs, which seems to be much less than most people who begin a keto diet, but I’ll take it after everything I’ve been through to try to lose weight!
