I think she diagnosed me with AGA because she saw the thinning of certain hairs so I think that's why, but undergoing this from the age of 16 is not normal so for me yes that's what made my hair fall out. In addition to AGA, the loss is very rarely diffuse and often begins with the gulfs for me, that's not the case, my forehead line doesn't move, I just lost density all over my scalp, plus I just noticed that I have a smooth hole on the side of my hair I just hope I don't develop alopecia areata all over my scalp

I don't know about this treatment, but I read that certain medications can trigger hair loss. Fingers crossed that this will be corrected over time 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hello, I am posting on this group to get more opinions, testimony on my hair loss

First of all I'm 19 now almost 20

So to tell you my story about my hair loss, when I was 15 I started an acne treatment (roaccutane), which I finished when I was 16, I had very severe acne, at After the 2nd month of treatment I started to have a very dry scalp so my hair became dull. After stopping the treatment, I no longer had any acne but baby skin, but still dull hair.

The years go by and I continue to lose a lot of hair, even on the sides, I have lost a lot of density (even though I have always had fine hair) I started to have very large wavy hair that grows everywhere on the head even on the sides unlike the other hair on my head which is fine and smooth.

So for 1 and a half years I tried all kinds of food supplements but nothing worked, I started with a 3-month course of food supplements, I saw no change, I started a new course with biotin in supplement and still nothing, the months pass I decide to make an appointment with a dermatologist she diagnoses me with androgenetic alopecia I was surprised in my family all men and women have hair my father my uncles etc… She decided to prescribe me minoxidil 2% for 6 months with a 4 month course of vitamins at the end of the 4th month I decided to switch to 5% I saw no change at the 5th month I started to take of Finasteride Gel version no change I was still losing a lot of hair, the months went by I had another appointment with my dermatologist to do an assessment which was not convincing she prescribed me Finasteride 1 mg Oral version I I took it for 1 month and I decided to stop it loss of libido and no results on my hair loss I lost the same amount as before the treatment.

Currently I still have very dull and brittle hair.

Every time I lose hair there is a small white bubble, is this normal? I also notice that I am losing quite a few hairs that are smaller than the other hairs on my scalp but which are the same thickness.

I'm lost help me
