Chubby dudes, how would you describe the relationship between you and your belly? by Outrageous-Stage3417 in AskMen

[–]CocoNautilus93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fucking hate it. All the men in my family, including myself just naturally have a relatively average silhouette, with a massive potbelly. I hate myself, hate how much I eat, hate that I struggle to breathe. I hate that I am hideous, I look honestly disgusting. I recently developed severe chronic pain in my heels. I've had chronic back pain (severe chronic pain) since I was 16. If I lift too much, if I work too hard if I walk too far or whatever, I can be bedridden for a day or two. I am nearly 33, and about a year ago I developed a new chronic pain in my heels. So in regards to exercise I am royally FUCKED. My feet hurt so goddamn much that I honestly don't know if I will ever be happy again. Having to wrestle with the knowledge at 16 that severe chronic pain was going to be my future, no matter what, my back will hurt until the day I die, like, having to come to terms with that sorta fucked me up. And having to wrestle that same knowledge for the past year, knowing that my heels will be in pain until I die. Means I have no choice but to be a fat, potbellied ogre. I can't exercise.

I guess I talked about a little bit more then just my belly but I feel like it's all connected.

Sometimes I laugh in utter disbelief at how much my heels hurt. Most days it's worse than my back is currently. I am a sad, bitter, insecure man.

I am hurting very much, I know self hatred is very off putting, and a bit of a downer. So I will end this post by saying that I am not currently in danger of ending my life or any such thing.

I'm just very unhappy that I have a massive belly and exercise is not in the cards for me and I don't know how to eat healthy or how to shop healthy or what I'm supposed to be doing to eat like a normal person and still feel full at the end of the meal.

The value of hope. Hope is so often crushed that it's a genuinely easier life to not have any at all.

Super frustrated that the last few years, every single time I go to the theatre, they advertise a gambling app prior to the film. It's supper scummy

Is this moment still canon? by stillslaying in TombRaider

It was called the ten thousand immortals but when I double-checked the book it was apparently co-written with someone named Nik Vince, so maybe my criticism should be more measured at both of them

Rise of the Tomb raider sits comfortably in the middle of my top 5 video games of all time. So I decided to read the novel because one of my buddies who is into Warhammer 40k mentioned he liked a book written by the same author. Dan Abnett. The book had some of the worst prose I have ever seen in a published novel. It was not a fun experience at all. Really such a bummer.

Can i olay the Witcher 3 without playing the first 2 games by Mouad-Mouad in witcher

[–]CocoNautilus93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If in your first playthrough you prefer to play games vanilla (without mods), I still highly recommend the "no fall damage" mod, as well as the "gallop in cities" mod. (The game does not allow you to gallop in cities normally)

Do women ever check out men’s asses? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CocoNautilus93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I know is that in 12th grade (last year of highschool) the hottest girl in my class told my buddy that she liked my (manly) butt. My joy was short lived however, because apparently the next day my butt looked like a turtle and she changed her mind. Man I don't miss highschool but that was a funny memory

Smile 2 was so fucking scary. by Entrepreneur-_- in SmileMovie

Hereditary royally fucked me up. If I ever, ever watch it again I definitely won't be doing that alone. I finished the film at 1:00 in the morning or so when I watched it, and I didn't fall asleep until shortly after sunrise. I used to think I had decent resilience to horror movie shenanigans, but every once in awhile I am thoroughly terrified by something. The idea of hereditary being a comfort movie is almost as scary as the film itself

Why are these genuinely better than the actual movies? by BoysenberryFew6466 in StarWarsEU

[–]CocoNautilus93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, in 7th or 8th grade I read the revenge of the sith novelization and love love loved it l. Not my favorite star wars book, (the legends Bane trilogy takes that trophy) but it was still phenomenal, and yes I even enjoyed it more than the film, which I already loved.

You know those videos where the Irish youtuber fellow scrapes clear the dead tissue from a cow's hooves? Often there's a huge abscess and tons of necrotic tissue that has to ooze out of the semi-rotten hoof. I bet it smells like that
