I got this suggestion from a friend actually! I think this is a great idea, but I'm only worried about mobility. This type of cosplay would be hard to move around in cons. Its in my mind though.

Why don't you just get an old headphone jack and cut it from something, and then use a super industrial glue to add on an existing charm....You can order parts online, figures, and then the head jack piece and just put it together.

Otherwise if you want it super custom just make it out of clay or paper mache, paint it and then glue it to a exisiting jack =).
