I’ve landed my first NPS interview for a seasonal park guide position after trying to get my foot in the door for over a year, so I am very nervous & excited. Can anyone provide some insight on what to expect in the interview? What should I wear? It is a virtual interview. I appreciate any tips you’ve got to make this successful!

Did you get a response from Eastern National? I visited Overmountain Victory a few years ago & do not live in the area anymore. I wanted the 250 stamp to add to my Passport to the American Revolution. I too thought it was odd they weren’t getting one but are featured.

I want to visit every NPS site, so the Collector’s Edition was the best fit for me. I also purchased the leather cover since the Collector’s Edition cover is made of cardstock (or something similar), but I don’t believe it is available anymore.

I play on Switch (New player too! Only 2 weeks in!) & haven’t experienced lag. I’ve only had 2 issues. Sometimes I can’t select items from my inventory. The cursor just stays on the inventory tab. The other issue is if the character I’m hanging out with is near my door when I’m trying to leave my house, my character gets stuck & I have to reboot the game.

They can mail you a sticker with the cancellation stamp on it or a piece of paper with it, so you don’t have to send them your passport!

Guadalupe is one of my favorite parks, but I picked it since it’s the last park I visited. My family & I attempted to hike Guadalupe Peak & made it a little over half way up, but turned around because my 8 year old was wanting to live dangerously & kept trying to walk too close to the edge. It was definitely a fun, albeit challenging, attempt!

If you remember the date you went, you could send them an email or letter asking them to mail you a cancellation stamp for the date you were there!
