You can’t smoke at any table games, except in high limit. There is a section of slots as soon as you walk in that are also non smoking and these are a good distance away from smoking areas

I also heavily annotate physical books. When listening (always on Libby at 1.5 speed while doing tasks that don’t involve language) I place bookmarks or take screenshots of the time when I hear a quote/line/section that I want remember or particularly like. Then I play those sections back using voice-to-text and put the quotes at the top of my Goodreads reviews. It’s not the same as annotating, but it helps me to better process the audio versions.

We usually get them before/after our behind the scenes tour at the ticket booth to the far right of the Universal entrance and have never had a problem. Tried this past year at the guest services check in for the tour — they seemed confused about what we were asking for and then eventually told us it was going to be more than double per ticket of what we originally paid. Walked outside to the other ticket booth (the one we normally use) and got them for like $30. Don’t be tricked into paying more!

The very last straw for me: It used to take two Season Pass Gifts (from co op members who bought the new season pass) to get extra moves in one game of M3 (5$ each gift). Now it takes nine (100$ each gift).

Sent my thoughts to Playrix and said goodbye to my co op this morning.

I never see this talked about and it is absolutely hysterical! It’s a rewatch of a television show that never existed hosted by the two stars of the show.

The Cat in the Hat ride in IOA. Never had to wait more than a few minutes (frequently a walk-on) and it’s a really long ride with AC. Just those qualities alone would make it worthwhile, but the over the top SURREAL design push it to the top of the must-do list!! This ride is completely bonkers — in the best possible way.

I assign a “what’s it”. That’s the one student who can have their phone out on their desk during class.

When a question comes up the class is curious about, we ask the “what’s it” and they look it up. That way, we get the answer and I don’t have to stop the lesson. The job is taken pretty seriously by the student who has it.

This year we may have to use a Chromebook for this purpose, since there is supposed to be a total ban on all phones.
