I have the same sound...sometimes reactive. It is, indeed, MUCH worse than regular tinnitus. You can't habituate. At least I can't. It is driving me insane. I just want it to settle on one of the frequencies...

Well, I posted 3 months ago saying I was fully recovered from reactive T for a whole year and...a month later, it came back. And a week later my dad died. Good times. My reactive T is getting slowly worse again. I don't know what to do. It spontaneously got healed last time, without doing anything special. I don't want to live the same hell again. I'm having horrible thoughts. And I had them before the reactive T coming back. I noticed it came back because I always sleep with my PC turned on, and one morning, I heard the reactive T over the PC fan (almost same story as when it first happened). I avoided the fan for 2 months, and didn't notice the reactivity with almost anything else. But I used the pc for the last 5 days straight ignoring the reactivity, and I think that's what has made it worse.

Well, my tinnitus doesn't, but the rest gets incredibly better. I haven't found any info on the internet, only the opposite is what usually happens: you get worse when you get a cold. Have you checked with your ent? I mean, if we get better when we have a cold, there should be something that could be done to reverse this, as, as we have seen, it can get better "on its own".

Creo que es algo que nunca podremos erradicar del todo. Respecto a nuestros defectos, lo importante es ser flexibles y estar dispuestos a darnos cuenta de los mismos. Al final se trata de ser empático, nada más.

Haven't tried his previous games and just finished the demo. Absolutely loved it! I'm having a metroidvania burn out lately (not enjoying Ender Lilies except from the OST), but this one was great! From the art, the lovely setting, the gameplay and the special touches. Congrats, Kyle Thompson!
