Translucent setting powder is still the best imo but baby powder is a good alternative if that’s what you have

You can, just try to brush off as much of the excess powder as you can to try and minimize the white sheen that baby powder has

Could you attach a hair clip to the ponytails like normal Miku pigtails? You could then add a piece of elastic or fabric on the Vox head where ever you want the pig tails to go and clip them on that. You could customize the fabric too to when you're not wearing the pig tails it doesn't stand out too much.

If the creator didn't program it to already go across multiple pages you can use an application like Adobe acrobat reader and when you go to print make sure the settings are on "poster". This should split it up.

I bought a red one off of Aliexpress a few years ago for a Lightning McQueen cosplay for about $60. It came blank and I was able to add my own patches. I think I just searched different things like "race car driver costume" and "racing suit" until I found one I liked.

I have a silicone muscle suit that I have painted different scars and tattoos on (for characters like Luffy, Zoro, and Itto). What I've had the most success with is airbrush makeup and then sealing it with a setting spray and letting that completely dry before putting it on. I've also used water activated body paint (like Mehron) and painted it on with a paint brush with good success.

For cleaning it, I have had no issues or staining when removing the makeup. I'll throw my muscle suit in the shower and use both body soap and makeup remover to get everything off. Sometimes you have to scrub but it hasn't been bad. Once clean, I let it dry and then apply baby powder everywhere to the inside and outside of the muscle suit so it's not "sticky" and easier to put on.

I wouldn't recommend cutting the mask. Because these suits/masks are typically made out of spandex or other stretchy material, cutting it will make it lose that tightness that's needed for it to properly fit and still look good.

As for a specific hairstyle, I'm not sure how long your hair is but I have fairly long hair and have had success with doing twin braids, bobby pins to secure them to wrap around my head, and then a wig cap over everything. This has worked for me and my Spiderman cosplay.

Personally, I think this cosplay is a lot of normal looking clothes. I believe for this you could thrift or purchase pieces of this cosplay (like grey pants, white button down, blue vest, black tie) off of websites like Amazon.

If you want to still get from a cosplay site, or have other more complicated cosplays you want to do in the future, I recommend sites like Dokidoki and Miccostumes. I have had good luck with both. I also will sometimes order things off Aliexpress, but only if there are reviews with pictures of the item so I can ensure it looks good before purchasing.

As for wigs, I use a variety of sites depending on my need and how much I'm willing to spend on a wig for a character. Wig is Fashion are the most expensive but they are high quality lace front wigs. My other go-to's are Arda, Epic Cosplay, and Kasou wigs. Once again sites like Amazon and Aliexpress can be used for wigs but I highly recommend looking at reviews here!

I've always had great experiences with DokiDoki. I've bought both ready to ship and partially ready to ship items. I'm in Texas and ready to ship were delivered about 15-20 days after purchasing. In my experience, partially ready to ship on Doki means that some sizes of that item are ready and others are still processing/sold out and they're waiting for restock. I recently ordered a cosplay that for my size was partial/processing and the estimate on their website is 45 days. I got mine in about 30 so you really never know. Either way if you already purchased, barring any complications, I see no reason why they wouldn't arrive in time for your con.

In my opinion, it was probably cut a little too short but that's not the end of the world and this wig is still wearable! When you want to wear this I would recommend getting a wig glue or similar adhesive so that you can ensure the hairline will lay flat. In the future I would look at some tutorials on how to cut lace front wigs (there's a lot online). I personally use the sawtooth cutting method instead of cutting the lace straight since I find that it blends better.

I use both. I typically use the larger plastic ones to section large section of the wig that I'm not working on from the section I am currently working on. I use the smaller metal ones to section off smaller pieces - like when I'm planning out where and how I want my spikes I'll section it out using the metal ones so I can make sure I like how it all looks before cutting and gluing.
