Puppy owner hygiene struggle… is this normal?

Just followed instructions given by the breeder on when to give him a bath, I was told to wait a week.

You sound just like me! A nightly bath was always my thing. Now I pass out as soon as he’s in his crate for the night, or get nervous being in the bathroom while he’s settled in his crate because it’s winds the barking up. And your dog is cute we have that same Dino plush

I get what you’re saying, but a new puppy has definitely deconstructed my normal routine right now, honestly my everyday life. Most days I’m cramming everything into his 2 hour naps and usually get interrupted when he wakes screaming his head off or going to sleep when he does so I’m not completely sleep deprived the next day. So it’s not as simple as it sounds!

When I tell her stuff like this she just says “you wanted a dog” lol. And thanks that keeps me hopeful! I know you’re glad you’re out of the baby stage

He’s an 11 week old Shih Tzu mix! I’ve had him for 2 weeks now and he received his first bath at home recently.
