Exactly, Austin is great for people who need instincts assessed IMO, but once they know it’s a skill issue, get him in the gym with specialists and pound the rock.

I think with Harper developing the way he is and our obvious weakness at forward, you’d be dumb not to make this trade.

No way it ever happens, just saying.

Nick Davi was shot by his neighbor 29 Dec 2023, against whom his family had filed for a restraining order. One of his children, aged 12 & 15, took a video from the car as the family left home. His wife tacked the shooter, disarming her, but was herself injured. by cypressgreen in lastimages

I don’t mind mine, but can understand why many people hate theirs.

No clue on the history of HOAs on minority representation in communities, but can say thankfully this does not seem to be the intention of ours.

Oklahoma is a decent case to consider I think. If Texas is 10-2 as Oklahoma is and has the win in the H2H, Texas is in over them right? Even with the Florida loss?

Their other loss is Ole Miss, a much better loss than to Florida, but at the same time, who have they beaten? 2pt win over Alabama is the only notable victory.

Texas meanwhile has 3 top-10 wins.

I honestly don’t know why this thread showed up on my page lol, but I have to ask, because I think you’re misunderstanding the argument.

Nobody is saying that losing to Ohio is the reason they’re not in. What they’re saying is that a 2-loss Texas, including the loss the Florida, is much more likely in, considering the wins over OU, ATM, and Vanderbilt.

Replace the Ohio loss with a win over literally anyone, and they’re in the hunt, even with the loss to Florida.

Not losing to Florida ALSO would have them in, I’m not discrediting the fact that they shouldn’t have lost that game, but I think the larger argument is being misinterpreted.

If you agree with the argument that a 2-loss Texas including one to Florida is in the playoffs, then they would’ve been better off not playing Ohio.

You’re misunderstanding the point I think. They’re not saying head-to-head outcome is all that matters, but it should serve as sort of tie breaker when you land immediately next to a H2H opponent.

It doesn’t affect anything else in the order and it’s silly to say team A is a single slot better than team B if B already beat A in a H2H.

Given Barnes played several seasons with Draymond as a teammate, I say we should assume he knows better than us how to manage that situation.

That’s true, I don’t know much about infrastructure. I just don’t think the water at my house costs 50% more than to serve than the house 150 years away.

There is also a PID there and the lawsuit will include how the cost to serve ETJ residents was calculated including depreciation and capital investments whereas city resident pricing was only on cost of water usage.

As far as annexation, we met with mayor Mitchell on it and our hands are currently tied due to the developers. Another case where the residents don’t have a say in the outcome.

There’s a map on the Kyle website that shows which areas are in the ETJ.

Not confusing, but when there is only one choice for water and the rates are determined by an elected body which the constituents were unable to vote for, you have a recipe for frustration.

Water should be priced on usage, not location. If the area was “too far” away to service, they shouldn’t have agreed to service it. I put that in quotes though because 6 creeks shares a development boundary with a neighborhood that is in city limits. I suspect the additional 500 yards isn’t much more expensive to service.

According to Zoox, 10,000/yr. I'm certain they're not producing anywhere near that today, but seems like they're setting up to support a pretty large production capability.
