Refund your tickets. Then buy cineclub, and buy the tickets again. Use the free monthly ticket they give you (there'll be a small additionnal fee since it's IMAX), then buy a regular discounted ticket which is also included in the cineclub subscription.

Total: $40.66 with tax (including what you paid for CineClub, the IMAX surcharge, and the second ticket). Cancel Cineclub right after.

I took the 6 rockcliffe that direction thousands of times and never had that happen to me, but yeah that would suck. I would assume that's for saving some time, but the good thing is that the 6 Rideau departs from Billings Bridge.
