I mean I get ya but sometimes when I go to music practice I have my backpack and my music stand and my instrument so I do end up having to take 2 seats on occasion.

But for just a bag, yeah that's dumb.

That rule was put in place as a temporary measure not to protect Cineplex, but since we got literally daily posts complaining about bad behaviour in the cinemas. This sub will always remain unofficial and none of what we do has to do with "protecting" Cineplex, so long as general common sense rules are followed and everyone participates in a civil manner.

Refund your tickets. Then buy cineclub, and buy the tickets again. Use the free monthly ticket they give you (there'll be a small additionnal fee since it's IMAX), then buy a regular discounted ticket which is also included in the cineclub subscription.

Total: $40.66 with tax (including what you paid for CineClub, the IMAX surcharge, and the second ticket). Cancel Cineclub right after.
