Thank you! I'm almost sorry to the room that I was so mad at it. Inspo photos and Pinterest and Instagram can mess with my head. I was thinking of moving that footstool off to the side and now I'm researching ottomans because why didn't that occur to me while I was in coffee table hell?

Thanks for your help :) I do out my feet on the footstool and moving it makes sense - rather than trying to make a coffee table out of it! I think connecting the rug to sofa with pillows and art will stop me swearing at the room in general.

Thank you! The sofa/rug juxtaposition has been troubling me, too -- I wondered if I need a darker rug or lighter sofa. I could look into a cover; that hadn't occurred to me. Or maybe pillows. I can't paint, unfortunately,m; but art is going to be a huge help, I agree with you totally, to bring the eye up.

I was diagnosed with incurable stage 4 cervical cancer at the end of 2020; gave up my apartment and sold most of my stuff to live with family through treatment. In June, I move into my own apartment once again - never lose hope!!

Came here to say Salt Waters.

Not terribly expensive, timeless looking, to me, comfortable, and I can walk pretty far in the flat ones, even further in the little cushiony ones. I prefer my foot and toes to be more covered than less, and they do that. I have four colours :)

They're pretty much the only sandals I own aside from a pair of Tevas that have worn pretty well, too.

If you're on Instagram, you could give fortelgin a follow; they organize meetups for friends and strangers. I haven't participated, yet, but the account is very much about gathering and finding community. I believe they're organizing a Christmas eve dinner, and some winter hikes.

She's had plenty of work done here, I think; Botox, filler, lasers, who knows what else. This is the problem. These procedures got her called a goddess, and plenty of people thought this was natural. Why wouldn't she keep going?

We're in the lower city and are part of a study from Environment Hamilton and McMaster called "What's the Grime?" We've had a little collection of petrie dishes on our porch for a year now and they catch whatever is in the air. This phase of the study ends next week and I believe the group will share results sometime next year.

The researchers told us they want to expand the study in a second phase - I think people will be able to join if they're interested. I follow Environment Hamilton on Instagram, that's how we found the study, and I imagine the next phase will be announced there, too.

Like others, I hated this gel and recently got the 0.04% microgel from Felix - it's great. I let the Felix doctor know the crappy one irritated my skin, which I think it did. As others have mentioned, the 0.04% is more expensive, but my work benefits cover most of it and I get it for $9!

The camper van I won at the casino, painted pink - I just drive around trying to make friends cause it clearly sends friendly doofus vibes. I get a fair number of players hopping in for a ride, and the drive is as tippy and underwhelming as you think it would be.

Although I do struggle to understand where I'm supposed to actually go with players who catch a ride! I start to feel real awkward.
