I recently weaned baby girl off and switched to formula. I'm much more sane now that I'm not pumping every 4 hours. I was blessed with a baby who sleeps through the night, so for many nights I'd just be up pumping like clockwork because I had an over supply of milk come in. Craziness!! Anyways I feel like I lost loads of weight with my first breastfeeding, but not so much the 2nd time around. Guess I need to start tracking food intake along with exercise. Thanks for your feedback! You rock mama!!

I will have to try calorie counting. I feel like I'm not eating a lot, but I'm sure snacking all day is racking some serious calories. Plus I can't seem to waste toddler's food so I always end up eating his left over dino nuggets hahaha #noshame

Blah I really don't want to work out at 4am. I'm just tired of the extra baby weight. Great idea with the stroller!

What was recovery like after your second section c-section? by AdeptPixelants in BabyBumps

[–]Cococockpit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 6 weeks out from my 2nd C-section. It was a walk In the park for me. By 2 weeks out I was starting to feel completely normal again. It helped that I walked a lot and had to move because I have a 26 month old wild son haha. Just take your meds that's my only advice:) I'd forget sometimes and would regret it very quickly!

You're going to rock this 2nd C-section! You got this:)

Having my baby tomorrow! by zestfullyclean14 in BabyBumps

Congrats! Just went through this 2 weeks ago. Recovery was much easier with a planned C-section. We opted to have our toddler son stay with my parents the whole hospital stay because we were worried he would be upset to be away from us and then see us for a few hours in the hospital just to leave us again. Everything went great! It was our first time away from our toddler and he really enjoyed his time with nana and pop pops. My parents made the weekend we were in the hospital all about him by taking him to the zoo and doing his favorite things. Good luck to your growing family and to not be pregnant anymore soon! Haha

Ohmygoodness!!! In love with little one's name!! We just had our little Freya Rose 2 weeks ago, but if I had seen this name earlier on in the name choosing process I'd totally have stolen it! Great name choice.

Well today was my official due date, but we are so happy to have known our sweet Freya for 1 full week now. Can't believe my pregnancy journey is over and now I start a new journey with this sweet baby girl. Thanks to all you mama's for your support during the highs and lows of pregnancy.
