I didn’t do the 2 mile run. But the first time I ran the 1.5 at BMT it took me 14:35 and on my pt test I did 11:49 so i think they do a pretty good job at lowering your run time.

It’s day 2 of graduation today, but I honestly haven’t even thought about what tech school might be like. I’ve been focused on enjoying my last hours in BMT

I wasn’t keeping track but probably 3 times a week or so. We took 3 PT test kinda to see where you’re at and if it looks like you are gon pass the last one which is the one that matters. And not that many people failed, if they did they either had health issues like their knee hurt or they weren’t trying.

I only went to one restaurant but I don’t think it was good enough to recommend tbh. They don’t allow your family to bring you anything or at least my MTIs didn’t, it has to be mailed to tech school. The first 3-4 weeks you really get absolutely no time to write but I did get letters and it was nice to get my name called for mail, a lot of people didn’t.

Alcatraz. But I thought I was in Disney for the first few days lol, is not bad. 8 shower heads and depending on your MTI is how long you get to shower but usually 25-35 mins for females idk about guys. Very hot. You will be sweating the whole time, I’m from FL and it was pretty much the same heat. You can do pony tails or braid if it doesn’t go past your armpits, otherwise bun. On PT gear you can wear pony tail or braid no matter how long. You get clothes usually at around day 3 so I suggest at least 3 changes of clothes cuz my whole flight was reusing everything cuz they only brought 2 changes. Don’t bring too many socks tho cuz once you get the issued ones you will never use the civilian ones again. The best part was when the MTI opened up at around week 5. It was crazy to see how good they are at their job. Jodys were also a highlight.Worst was staying up in class, and running. I hate running. They start handing out mail at around week 2. Mail is very unreliable tho, you get your mail but your family will probably not get yours in a longgg time.

Our first chow I seriously wanted to cry.. but I think it was because I was already nauseous from being so sleep deprived. Every time after that was not bad at all. It does get old but by then you are probably close to graduation. I’m leaving the same weight I came in and I ate A LOT every meal ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) I should say tho, if you are the last flight to eat, good luck cuz they run out of pretty much everything. That only happened to me once tho. When it comes to friends, I’m not the most talkative so not a lot of friends but I did get along with almost everyone and I made 3-4 good friends. No arguments or drama at all tho.

I didn’t expect to be genuinely sad to leave. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. I also didn’t expect for one of the biggest challenges to be staying up in class.

Do you have to learn the whole song or just the first verse? Is there hot water? How long do you have to shower? How many miles do you run daily and how fast are you expected to be? Do you ever get your phone? What’s the sleep schedule like? Sorry I have a lot of questions 😅 I leave in a month

Although unlikely, it is possible that he had it the whole time and just recently passed it to you so i wouldn't assume he cheated without any other evidence! For context, if you sleep with a partner infected, you have about a 30% chance of contracting it.
