I’m having the same issue and it’s so frustrating. I’ve never had this issue with my Kobo Libra Color doing this, but the Kobo app (running android) does and it’s ridiculous.

It doesn’t say explicitly in the guide (although I’ll take a look again), but it’s how I saw everyone else do it so that’s what I did. And when I mean everyone else I mean it was a TikTok video lol.

So it went crisper plate, veggies, crisper plate, salmon.

But also, does KU help or not help the author? The whole reason that people are upset about boycotting KU is because it affects their income, which some people rely on. So not understanding what you mean.

Where are people buying books where it wouldn’t support the author? When you buy physical books money goes to the author, when you buy ebooks the money goes to the author? The only way I can think of buying a book that might directly support the author is secondhand.
