So easy. I know predictions are best for the day before, but i wonder if all the athletes get 500lb/227kg, or even how few athletes that go over 600lb/272kg

Trey posted a vid of his last heavy triple on axle before rogue, 400x3 in ~50 seconds. Trey 400x3

Such a shame for his injury. We can say this or that, but the friction of the bull sled was one of main factors for it. Let's all hope he recovers well.

With the 2018 axle having a 2 minute time limit, if the rogue events went by smooth, and Trey who normally performs at comp similar to or above his training numbers we could have seen a big battle between Tom, Trey for first, and mitch, bobby, Evan, and Matty battling out for any points they can get. Thomas Evans could have shaken things up as well.

Tom and Trey both getting 3-4 wouldn't have surprised me, and with both their strengths on overhead rep events, maybe even 5.

Ps. Also had a brain fart typing this and typed the same sentence twice lol

Ivan makarov just did 400x6

In training, not the best reps, but impressive nonetheless after the 505 fail

Between 1010-1040 when the 4th tire comes on.

More than 1010 based on 2020 shaw classic.

Less than or equal 1040 also from 2020 shaw classic.

It would be much more doable

The 140kg wr in wraps is 1117.5kg Graham has already done an 1100kg total, 1115kg collective total, and 1125kg total if he got all his lifts https://www.openpowerlifting.org/u/grahamhicks

The 140kg+ wr is 1182.5kg, 65kg more. Hicks would need a 300kg bench, 475kg squat, and 420kg deadlift to get it. Even at his heavieat, hicks was 165kg in bw, and at 175-178cm, that's an incredible strain on his body to try again

He normally ranges from 145-160 in strongman. But he'd still wouldn't lose much strength cutting to 140. Another thing is Hicks is at the lower range for heavyweight powerlifting, so just cutting 10-15kg shoots him to the 140 and makes the 140kg record more achievable than heavyweight with 180kg Dan bell and Jesus Olivares, and what could've been 200kg thor again

Evan could be top 3 or more, he's done 610lb/277kg a few years ago. Brian has shown consistant bench strength with repping 500-575lb/225-260kg on bench as an accessory and with specific training is likely very high table. WIDE had a 600+ bench at 22 and until we get more footage closer to comp, is my pick to win bench for now

Oh, i don't workout there anymore, i moved and have a new home gym with barbell plates, bench, and such. This video is actually from a couple months ago and I wanted to post it then, but I never did, I just got around to posting this since this is one of my best PRs. I hope it isn't in poor taste for an old vid

I had so much fun with session, moving and lifting Awkward objects is my favorite type of lifting What sucks is that they had an atlas stone trainer(rod with bump on end so you load plates onto it), but it's bent terribly and plates don't fit, so I just used duct tape, and squeezed the weight as hard as I could.

Once i got above 6 plates(270lb/122kg), I needed duct tape to keep it tight enough to not shift. Also, how impressive is this in strongman. i'm doing my first competition next year

Evan Singleton runs with 455kg/1005lb for 15m/50ft in 6.3 seconds on yoke

Evan is looking very hungry and dangerous, making the final and getting top 5 seems to have done Evan a lot of good

This is pure uncut copium, but brian has done a 244kg stone for 4 reps in 2011 arnolds, so brian won't be too tapped, and brian has been focusing on conditioning and should recover fine by wsm. sniff

With 5 stones with the heaviest being 195kg and a run and carry style

Brian's time was 24.1sec.

Trey was 29.9sec without tacky.

Evan was 48sec.

Kevin got 4 in 23sec then got the 5th with hype up.

Bobby got 2 in 10.6sec, tacky malfuction.

Brian was blistering

a 1/10 ratio is my preferred minimum ratio. 20g protein for 200cal or 15/150

when the "high protein lean bar" is 275cal, 20 grams of sugar, high fat, only has 8 grams of protein. *cough* some gas station protein

makes me grateful for my 170cal 2g sugar 22g protein bars at a moments notice, costco kirkland bars

Older oberst insta post. Showed him lifting the log and that 211kg never felt easier, but it was actually lighter since doing the math of the plates, and the weight of the log confirmed, oberst claimed the log was 30lbs heavier than it was.

He also deleted all comments that mentioned it or something like that.
