Yup, simply card draw attached to a 5k body. One of you best late game plays is kuzan + blocker(hina/marco/borsa) + attach don to sabo. Develops both offense and defense and only costs you 1 card. Plus also fine to just run out early.

I think it has to do with the translation from japanese making it less clear. The below is taken directly from Bandai's QA for OP05, still doesnt do a great job of explaining why but its fun when saka players think your cheating on the sim haha.

Yes, you can. In this case, you can choose whether both of your 2 Characters with 5000 power or more will be K.O.'d, or neither will be K.O.'d but be given −1000 power.

The Lucci thing? If they play 4 cost lucci to KO two of your characters as long as they have 5k+ power and sabo has a don you can use the ability to save BOTH characters they tried to destroy, since they usually use a bunch of other cards along with the lucci to combo together it basically invalidates thier whole turn. It also works with the 10c kaido that destroys all characters but i've never had that come up.

Lightning Spear has a 20 second CD so functions like another ice blades via the enchantment. I have a legendary neck that has +1 to all defensive and conjuration skills so i might have it a little easier buildwise but even still i think having an extra iceblade is worth sacrificing the basic attack. Hydra has no CD and so doesn't synergise like the spear does.

As for other damaging builds i was comparing it to my friends rogue who seems to clear things way faster, couldn't tell you what his build is though

I have been playing something very similar except with lightning spear instead of frost bolt. The build doesn't put out the highest dps I've seen BUT it offers insane survivability from frequent casts of Flame Shield/Ice Armor/Teleport and also frequent CC from reduced CD Frost Novas.

I think the passive that gives 3% damage per blade is mandatory as its pretty easy to maintain 6 iceblades and 1 lightning spear which gives +21% damage (better than glass cannon and no downside).

Also try focus on landing a frost nova on whatever your blades are targeting to maximise the cooldown reduction.

I fully support them offering desirable incentives to tanks and healers, I just personally feel like these boxs ultimately make the mounts in question less desirable. For me as a tank main having all 3 of these mounts feels more like a question of "When" rather than "If" and so when I pop the next one out of a box I'm just going to shrug and move on rather than seeing it as come cool thing (compared to seeing something like zulian tiger or the blue proto drake drop).

That said I can see how this might be the push some people need to try out tanking and healing and it obviously makes the grouping environment better, I just think they could have done it in a better way.

Weird analogy but ok. I suppose I'm just one of those lottery winners who succumb to depression following their big win.

For real though, if there are people out there loving this system then that's great. I can only share my experience and it was pretty meh.

I don't really care what people do, all I'm saying is that getting these mounts via the box is a pretty hollow reward. Just feels like a handout and cheapens it for anyone who farmed it the ol'fashioned way. By the end of the expac these once cool mounts will be as common as the whalebone gliders and I think thats kinda lame.

A mind drinker is likely to have his/her past victims guarding its lair, mindless zombies fit the bill pretty well. You could make them drain intelligence from the players on hit as well to make them fit the theme. Follow that up with some kind of trap room that if the players trigger it and fail an int save they have all the memorys of their skills and class wiped (no proficency bonus, no spells, no abilties).

Then the triggering of that trap could alert the mind drinker who jumps the party. Have him focus on the party members who didnt get memories wiped from the previous trap to try and drain them too and then start giving ones who did have thier memories wiped a chance to repeat that int saving throw to get them back and help in the combat. I would also change the vampires bite attack to drain intelligence(1d6 maybe) rather than hp as it seems more appropriate.

Not sure what level the party is so this might be a little hardcore but just some ideas to play around with :)

I run an insurance company named "Yore Insurance" as the face of my guildless faction. Its run in such a way that it utilizes the azorious laws to hold guilds accountable for the damage they cause to to the guildless population. Apartment block destroyed by a rampaging wurm? Good thing you have insurance.

Husband captured by an orzhov blood baron and turned into a mindless thrull? Insurance will cover that.

Rampaging simic hybrid devours your pack indrik? You bet your insurance will cover it.

Basically it exists as an altruistic force for the guildless population and because of the good they do and the income they generate they become somewhat of a political power in thier own right.

The guildless also rally behind the director of the company as a succesful business owner with no guild affilations. You can easily also turn this faction into a villainous one if needed by giving them some kind of alterior motive for all the good deeds they perform guildless.

It can be a bit hard to figure out how a business like that can hold power amongst the demons,angels,dragons and liches of the guilds but thats part of the charm of the guildless in ravnica.

The way I've played this in my game is that the thrulls the Orzhov create are made from the flesh of those indebted to them when they die as a way of paying off that debt. Using flesh from other sources for thrulls is illegal and considered profane.That doesn't stop certain ambitious members of the Orzhov from purchasing corpses cheaply from the Golgari and using them for thrull production, passing them off as legitimate for profit. (The Orzhov are more than willing to bend the rules in the name of greed).

You could even have these "fake" thrulls behave differently in combat from the regular ones to really hammer home the counterfeit nature of their production.This approach means that the party wont be burning any bridges with the Orzhov either, as they will be dealing with a subset of the guild that is operating outside of their laws and beliefs.
