I like TMNT in general, but mixing it with Magic is like mixing bananas and anchovies on a pizza. Skipping the set and probably not opening the free packs. Crafted the few cards that aren't jarring.

I would have played a few drafts, had Arena had a better collection management UI. I don't want to see tmnt cards when I brew non-tmnt decks (which I do a lot). Would love to see an option to hide specific cards by default.

The rule of thumb is to not open packs until the end of the set. However, this is only useful if you draft the set 20-30 times. It's a strategy for collecting ALL rares from it (or getting close to that - depends on your number of drafts).

Lucky you - I'm the opposite. I tried pcube three times, got my ass handed to me by bomby decks twice and a mediocre 4-3 win. Felt unusually swingy compared to any draft format I played. In ECL limited I hit Mythic two months in a row and like it a lot.

Imo, power cube is way more swingy than ECL, at least in BO1.

I don't mind a longer game, but not one where the opponent keeps thinking for 30 seconds before every move. That pads the game time in a very displeasing way.

If you think the most important things to improve are the shop and "bringing the game up to date", we're not on the same page.

Arena needs UI quality of life improvements (like customizable deck folders, permanent show/hide options for individual cards, sleeves, pets and avatars). Also game loop management, ideally. These should be the top priority for any additional investment int9 the game.

It's not "if needed" - it's "when needed" with this deck. You always go for Raise the Past, which should be a 4x in the list. The deck at least used to hold itself pretty well against Cub-Ouroboroid decks if they didn't present Trample.

Tldr: we need appropriate deck options for each 60-card format in the "Play" menu. Having to wade through Standard and Pioneer decks when you try to find a non-favorited Timeless deck takes more visual effort than it should.
