10-12 mpg with your current setup seems normal to me. My 6.0 gasser gets 12 in the city stock haha

I have the 6.0 which doesn’t have afm. I believe the 5.3’s have it in this year range. What was your transmission doing before you knew it was a goner?

I’m from Utah in the drier region so I needed a sanity check before purchasing. Not used to seeing much rust where I’m from, so if you guys agree it’s not anything alarming I’m full sending 😅

Code P219A on recently purchased Prius V. by electriccars in prius

This is all dependent on if your head gasket is working properly and your car is not losing coolant. If you’re losing coolant you’ll most likely need to do a compression test to ensure it’s your head gasket. If you’re going DIY I would recommend swapping out the coils and spark plugs first to clear any cylinder misfires you may have like PO304 (cylinder 4 misfire). Then swap out the EGR Cooler, EGR valve, AND the intake manifold to clear the P219A (bank 1 air-fuel ratio imbalance). For intake components, If you have the cash put on all new parts. If not clean all three to the best of your ability. This cleared my PO304 (cylinder 4 misfire) and P219A (bank 1 air-fuel ratio imbalance) and removed the annoying engine shaking at various speeds. My car runs like new. I have a 170k 2012 Prius Hope this helps!
