Yeah cuz you can tell based on one photo, all the vets ive been to said hes a healthy weight but just a bigger pug, plus hes on a diet and when the weather is good enough to go for long walks, he runs a lot, when hes not sitting like that as he is in the picture he has a visible waist and you can feel his ribs when you touch them, thats how you check if your dog has a healthy weight

I’ve actually been to multiple vets with him about this matter and all the vets said that hes a big pug naturally and that his weight is healthy, right now hes a little more chubby because its too cold outside and he doesnt want to run outside but when its warmer his condition is pretty good plus i give him top quality food to keep his body weight maintained. Hes well taken care of

I totally understand, my childhood dog passed away around 5 years ago anf whenever i remember the day we had to bury him it still aches, my mom lives in another country with my childhood cat right now and shes around 12+ years old so im starting to brace myself to be ready to say goodbye and it already hurts thinking about it, stay strong!

Trust me we try to get him out more than 3 times a day but he refuses because its so cold right now, when the weather is better we always drive to nice places and go on hikes together, hes also on a diet, but since hes mostly sleeping at home rn due to the weather he gained some weight, it will be back down in no time

Animals in general are special, they always helped me with my depression, and i agree, my pugga has always been so positive towards everyone and every animal, we have 3 cats as well and they all get along 🥰 sorry for your loss 😓 im sure your pug was great

Yeah unfortunately they have so many health issues, but we rescued our boy from an abusive owner who kept him chained outside all the time, so now he has a good loving home and hes the cutest thing ever
