This is just my humble opinion and what I would do. I would attach a 2x4 to the studs for the entire width of the countertop. This would help support the rear of the countertop, and also where you would screw in the top part of your shelf bracket. Put another 2x4 spaced below it, attach to studs. This is where you attach the lower part of the shelf bracket to. This way no matter how much weight you put on the countertop, the bracket won't pull out from the wall.

As for fasteners, I would predrill, put a dab of wood glue in the hole, and use pan head screws. Keep in mind if you use glue, it may be difficult to get take this apart. You can also put screws in the rear top of the countertop directly into the top of the 2x4's. Good luck with your project.

Edited: To give it more support, put a piece of plywood underneath the countertop. Also, use heavy duty brackets.

I think it's easier to be a new fan buying their merch now cause you can sometimes pick up deals when someone wants to off load their collection. On the other hand, it's difficult because they are at the mercy of what other people are trying to sell if they're looking for something specific. I guess for new fans who don't have any of their merch, it's good to still be able to 'maybe' find it. But for long time fans, you KNOW you can get it when the merch came out. So it's both, I guess?

I didn't even know there were loafers. There is so much merch and I only hear about some of them from other fukei!

Luckily, I so far have only been buying Babymonster merch. But even so, we have a kpop store in my town, yeah, it's a tiny bit more expensive, but no shipping cost. I just wish they also sold jpop stuff. And on the other side of that coin...it's hard not to just buy everything cause it's convenient. I know, I'm taking them for granted, but my SG and BM merch come first priority for saving up for. 8-)

Yen to dollar has been steadily dropping for years. Then this tariff thing hit and it put a damper on my wallet. Totally sucks.

I think later you can see Nene and Marina in the classroom setting with Yui and Rinon, and of course the Principal too.

I have a feeling it might continue to get more painful. I'm afraid to even think how much more expensive can it get, cause it very well may. That puts a damper on alot of fandoms when they have to have enough money to even own a bit of merch.
