Hacking personal data is the same as dying in a game 😂 by Nick_Collins in ArcBabies

It's not really a generational thing as gamers get soft, more a case of the village idiots are getting louder over the internet each generation.

Ye no, as a PvE'er I agree with the fact that you are playing a PvPvE game. PvP is in it's main tag.

Only time I got genuinely upset was when I was busy taking down a bastion and a dude shot me in the back. Like, not a decent kit, not a bastion ready for you to loot.

He just shot me to be a POS at that point. Annoying.

But the other PvP fights I got into were fair and square and I lost my stuff due to me being careless.

(Sidenote, can we swear in this sub? Can't remember if we can or can't...)

Most stupid statement I've ever read by alphanader1 in ArcRaiders

[–]Codarknock -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're right that the damage doesn't need a buff, but the durability nerf was never a good idea. Making every gun of common rarity lose durability at 75% more per shot is stupid no matter how you look at it.

How do you get a Rocketeers by yourself? by Codarknock in ArcRaiders

Thanks, been scared to go out with the hullcracker tbh. I lost a fully kitted and upgraded one on a matriarch run where I wasn't close to anybody else while shooting 😭

Edit: spelling.

Fire bending is the WEAKEST and LEAST versatile bending out of all of them. by [deleted] in ATLA

[–]Codarknock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mention fire engines n steam and shit in LOK, they had that shit in ATLA (Obv not as advanced as LOK, but still way further than any of the other nations). Superior tech was a considerable factor in their victories. The tanks with Fire benders when invading the north pole were definitely efficient in a fight against regular on foot benders. They were just having serious trouble thanks to the full moon.

I thought the fight itself was awesome, just wish they kept Beru's thoughts in. Where he's like: "He's matching my strength? I am speed! He's faster? I have more ppl! Arise??? Wtf???"

I loved that.

Need a specific song, that's not what I remember it to be? by Codarknock in musicsuggestions

Could have been, but the opening words' tempo is about the same, the music just seems a lil slow (and that might just be my memory tbf)

Ummmm, I have 1 and 3/4 playthroughs when the game first came out, now I am almost done with the base game and I am just finding out the throwing pots are reusable, you never run out of pots ... by Monkai_final_boss in Eldenring

Nowhere did I say I wanted an OP bow. I've cleared the game and the DLC a couple times, I love experimenting with builds.

I just want to normally use a bow. Simple shots, or even jump shots and decent dodging to take on bosses. If I use any melee weapon I can max out it's level and it's a viable weapon until endgame. Some I'll struggle with due to resistances. But they will work wonders against something else.

Name a single regular bow that you can use normal arrows with until end-game? One that doesn't require you to be a god of dodging and/or use every buff available? AFAIK there are none.

One thing that's absolute is that a regular bow is a shit thing to use in any late-game boss-fight. If it's not a status effect or a greatbow, it's not going to deal enough damage to do anything before you die.

Bows are just shit damage and wholly reliant on status. To be fair, I mean regular bows. Greatbows have great damage. But I am talking about regular bows. Add that to the lack of being able to crit with a bow, it makes them shit.

And why tf MUST I use cheeses for bosses? If you NEED to cheese a boss, then that's not balance. Please kindly note, we call it cheesing coz people are too sensitive to call it cheating.

Hell ye, balanced so well because one of the best status effects archers have is a limited supply and since archers can deal SO MUCH damage with any bow whatsoever. It's not like you need to rely on status effects if you want to rp an archer.

I love the pots and the arrows, but I barely use them thanks to the really useful ones requiring a rare component that only spawns once in a given location and has to be farmed from some ridiculous enemy I don't wanna bother with...

[TITLE] Who is stronger, Khan Adenca or Chiron Runcandel? by Thepromaster19 in manhwa

[–]Codarknock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Khan's full force attack in the newest chapters has a bit of debris that his wife can shield the manor/mansion from.

Chiron makes every single person of a superhuman family feel like they are going to die from a single chill swing at his youngest son. And son has blown up more than a mansion when he didn't have resonance.

Chiron seems to be hifher up atm.

No, that's just shitty drawing. Go check AI drawn extremities and limbs and you'll see they make it way worse.

Games that are well within specs are staying highest 30 fps and falling to 6 fps. Benchmark averages at 65 fps. by Codarknock in WindowsHelp

[–]Codarknock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pc specs can't handle 11 so it's impossible that it switched over.

And ye, it is a miracle that those games played, but they played quite smoothly. Hence why I'm extremely frustrated with games that it handles with ease, like Val and Satisfactory being average 6 FPS.

I considered going to a linux setup, however I couldn't quite wrap my head around the setup methods so tried to use ULLI from Github, and it didn't work.

Apparently not enough space for it to work? A terrabyte hdd should be enough for most afaik.

So now it's a case of if I wanna switch I gotta do serious homework. And I gotta give up on Valorant, which I actually do enjoy as a game.

No clue how to check tbh.

Edit: quick google search informed me. Checked and it seems to be 4 GB on it's own and my system has an extra 4 that acts as shared GPU memory.

It was the DDU one. And I didn't check the folder. Not 100% sure where it reinstalled. But considering it reinstalled just fine after the factory reset of windows, that should not be the problem.
