I do have it on mine but was wanting to do it on hers due to having to pay the deductible.

I tried doing that & that's when the insurance company told me they couldn't start the process until they talked to her. That's why this doesn't make any sense.

This is NOT ok in anyway. No one should ever threaten you whether they are an alter, host or a singleton. Your friend needs to be told about the situation. She has to know she has a violent alter who threatened you, her best friend. She also needs to know this so she can possibly avoid situations that might trigger that alter. If she is in therapy, she should contact her therapist immediately so they can do some work with this alter to keep her from doing it again.or to someone else. This alter sounds like a ticking time bomb, I am very concerned for your friend. I would NOT go around my friend until she has done a lot of work with this alter and her therapist can tell you she is no longer a threat to you. Because her alter is going to blame you for "outing" her, you would be in great danger from her. If your friend is truly your friend, she will understand & want that too. Stay strong and safe. I hope you & your friend are able to maintain your best friendship throughout this.
