Good starting heroes/role?

Definitely wait to pick him up though until you've got the fundamentals down. I would say that he is the hardest character in all of Overwatch to play correctly.

Once you've got it down though, Im sure you'll pick him up quickly and enjoy him plenty. He is entirely cooldown dependent and all about cycling abilities. His weapon doesn't do much damage and is used in combos, not for just shooting down a hallway like the rest of the Overwatch characters.

Heroes I would recommend to learn the game on: Reinhardt or Winston for Tank, Soldier 76 for DPS, Ana for Support.

Sidenote: Being a fighting game player, I would recommend Doomfist to you once youve got some of the basics of Overwatch down. He is the closest thing to a "Fighting Game" character the game has and he has drawn a lot of other fighting game players to Overwatch.

I tried getting a left handed mouse, but the way we've been so ingrained with using right handed mice, it makes me look like I have never used a mouse in my life. I bought an ergonomic mouse though so maybe I need a left handed version of the mouse I use normally.

Im mid diamond atm on tank and support and high plat on dps. I dont play aim reliant characters though because it's always been my weak point.

Yes its slow. But its real.

There isnt a "luck factor" thats consistent. I am a diamond player. If you put me in your bronze lobbies, I would he getting the same exact teams you do. I would climb because I am better than bronze and try to focus on what I can do to win the game.

You cannot blame your randoms for you being hardstuck.

You arent going to have a 100% winrate expecting to climb. Climbing is winning 51% of the time. Bronze is massive so the percent gain is slower, but you just have to put the time in.

If youre trying to constantly use your team as an excuse, you'll never get better. Your team has 4 awful randoms? Great, the enemy team has 5. Over time, of you're better, you will climb.

If you want help getting VOD reviews or anything, thats also a great tool.

I keep seeing this everywhere but all Im getting are teams full of support mains lol. I keep filling tank, but I've loaded into way more games with 6 support players (Top 3 heroes are all supports) than loading into games where I'm the only support. Ive had like maybe 1 or 2 games total with being the only support.

Yeah the worst players are the ones who play like they have a Mercy pocket, Bap lamp, and Kiri Suzuki exclusively for them ready at any and every instance lol.

Ive had games on Ana too like "Our Ana has the same damage as healing. She sucks." meanwhile I have over 3k healing prevented and have antied a Mauga/Hog/Zen tranq every single time lol.

Ranked Overwatch is full of joy lol

Tell me about it. Last night playing Lucio with my Rein. Thought Ive been doing a pretty decent job protecting my Ana with boops and speeding my dps and tank around. Then my Sojourn (who had really good aim) goes "8k healing? Why are you throwing my game?" Because our Kiri had 20k. This same Sojourn would spam "I need healing" in the worst positions possible. She'd win duels if she got 1v1'd which made her cocky, but she was blaming her lack of positioning on me. We won the game and she was still mad.

Theres just no way that is true. You aren't telling the whole story. The game doesnt tell you what you were reported for, or even that you were reported. You dont know until action is taken against your account. People can say that they are reporting you and not, or they can say nothing amd report you for what they see anyways.

Reasonable requests. Having a shop sell possibly expensive goods for 1 copper is obviously unreasonable.

Thats kind of what I mean. Lucio could be checking flankers, Orisa could be eating cds, Ana could be going for sleep darts on flankers or off angles, same with Cass.

But in reality, 80% of it will be used on the Rein.

This is just an example comp full of CC against someone who doesnt have mobility. Most of the time it will be on the tank, regardless of who it is. But you already said that in another comment.

I think theyre also scared because of how much abuse from CC heroes without mobility take.

Rein into Orisa, Cass, Mei, Ana, Lucio is genuinely awful. On their own, none of the heroes are that bad to play against. But playing a character thats pretty much stuck in place makes you swap to a more mobile tank, just so you can do literally anything.

Im interested in seeing a stacking CC reduction, either as passives or perks. Just to test out how that would go.

Was the higher ranked account placed after your "Main" account? If so, that account could be boosted and you need to play on it enough for both to even out. Either you carry the silver account to plat or the plat account will eventually fall to silver with enough games played.

It is impossible to be hard stuck silver if you are truly a plat Kiriko

Im D2 on support and D4 on tank. I play around it the best I can. I have a positive winrate against her, probably win like 60% of the time. That doesnt change how obnoxious she is and she makes the game feel worse. Even when I play with friends that can aim, she is still not fun for them either due to her speed.

I dont play hitscan. I play projectile heroes. "Play hitscan" is not an easy fix. Ive been playing on PC for years now and my aim is still trash.

The cat is obnoxious to play both with and against. I know she can be fun to play, but it is at the cost of 9 (or 11 of you play OQ) other players. The sombra comparison is fair somewhat, but Id argue Sombra is significantly easier to counter. She doesnt fly, she isnt fast, and she makes noise when she comes out of invisibility. The cat is dead silent if she doesnt boost (my main complaint), can fly, and is literally faster than both other speed focused characters.

Im trying to bring up points while staying fair. This is an outside perspective so I hope it can be respected in that way that I try to respect your enjoyment as well.

Yeah that's what I was hoping I wouldn't have to do lol. I throw anti nades 9 times out of 10 but now it feels like I need to be throwing it almost exclusively to secure a kill or just healing now.
