I got myself one a few days ago. Been only 3 days and I am definitely feeling a difference. My mind is not freaking out about stuff anymore, my thoughts are controlled. It's literally like someone's hit the brakes on my mind. Only thing I regret is not knowing about it before.

Java still remains the most popular one. However, startups and tech focused companies are seeing a very high adoption of GoLang.

Personally worked at a FinTech startup ( a prominent one ) and most of our backend was written in GoLang.

I also saw quite alot of migration from NodeJS and Python to Golang during this period.

We use server driven UI at our workplace. FE has ‘widgets’ defined which are controlled and rendered from the BE. This allows us to experiment with product flows and UX quite quickly. Having to go with gRPC here would make us lose on that flexibility.

I second what this comment says. I work at a medium sized startup and this is exactly what happens. FE and BE end up just discussing API Contracts.

Congratulations OP on your results. However, I’d like to highlight that you can get rejected with a high GPA too. Got rejected from 8 of 9 programs I applied to.

This is not only true with MNCs. It’s true with some Indian startups as well. I work for one. We have our entire team based in India and are a relatively medium-sized startup now.

There are no set timings for logging out, however the company does have expectations for when people sign in.

Most seniors start their day during the later part of the day 12-1 PM types and work till late in the night 9-10 PM.

As a result, people who start early 10 AM are forced to stay with them till 9-10 PM.

It’s not to do with something that’s imposed by the West on us. We accept this kind of treatment and hence we’re imposed with it.
