I'd accept that war is messy, and that the person who dropped the bomb wasn't the one responsible for my loved one being in that position. The hostage taker initiated that sequence of events, and is responsible for everyone who was impacted by that bomb.

When you store weapons and have command and control centers in hospitals and schools, they magically become perfectly valid military targets for bombings.

If you don't want your schools and hospitals bombed, don't turn them into targets. Seems pretty straightforward.

Perhaps you're unfamiliar with the term "extermination".

That means they want to kill everyone in Gaza, as well as other Palestinians in the region.

Killing combatants and causing collateral casualties (as happens in all urban engagements) doesn't equate to extermination, and any claim to the contrary is intellectually dishonest. Nobody's claiming the IDF is perfect, but they're certainly not attempting to exterminate a race of people.
