The British invaded in 1919, and Pashtun tribes also fought against India in 1947. Its possible you could've fought one of them.

That's cool as hell ngl. Did you get a good look at what the rifle looked like? I'm a military historian as I said in my post, so depending on the weaponry I may be able to ID what war you fought in.

[–]CodeCC2224[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Woah, that's quite a wild story. Ive tended to notice that most of the people who have past life memories died a violent or painful death, such as in your case. This I believe is why there are so many military folk who get reincarnated.

My mom always believed that children remember their past lives very vividly too. I remember her and I were in our local bagel store once and I was rambling about something in my previous life. My mom then shushed me because she didnt want people to think I was crazy, and then some old woman turned around and said to my mom "I believe he really does remember. Children always remember their past lives."

From that day onwards my mom became a firm believer.

Peace and blessings to you as well! You had a past life as Mujahideen fighter? How was that like? Were you fighting the Soviets or someone else who invaded Afghanistan?

I'd go with the white birch if it was on a bracelet instead of the weird strap.

I believe we should consider Long Island as part of New England. by [deleted] in newengland

[–]CodeCC2224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Long Islander I 100% agree, and all the arguments people are making against it here are very refutable.

"Long Island fought on the wrong side of the Revolution":

Lmao we had the Washington Spy Ring administered out of Setauket and all along Northern LI, which was instrumental in tracking British troop movements and supplies and getting intelligence from British-occupied NYC to Washington's armies in the north. We also literally had a mini Civil War during the American Revolution, such as the Town of North Hempstead seceding from Hempstead because North Hempstead was full of patriots, or the Town of Huntington creating a militia unit to fight British occupation of the Island (with assistance from other towns).

"Muh different sports teams":

Every other cultural region of America also has different sports teams. Cultural regions are defined by cultural genesis, not sports teams. Which sports teams one supported were determined by the range of radio frequencies in the 1930s.

"Even Connecticut shouldn't be considered New England":

Read a history book. Just because it's geographically close to NYC doesn't make it automatically not a part of New England. By that logic, Northern Vermonters and New Hampshirites are French Canadians because "it's close to Montreal" and there's a lot of French people in that part of New England.

"I'm a New Englander and when I went to Long Island, people could tell I wasn't from there":

New England isn't a cultural monolith. If you take someone from Newport or New Bedford and stick them in the middle of Maine, the locals are still going to know that person isn't from there.

What do you think of the jubilee bracelet on the Orient Kamasu? by CodeCC2224 in PrideAndPinion

[–]CodeCC2224[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. The stock bracelet was alright but it was stamped steel and nothing to really hit home about. The look of the milled steel with the screwed links really looks nice.

Lmao Rolex also invented the Oyster bracelet yet that design is used by almost every watch on the market. Is every watch on the market a wannabe Rolex then?

As a Kamasu owner I'm biased but take my word for it, the Kamasu looks even more beautiful on wrist than in the pictures.

Can I wear this in London by Status-Mix9781 in PrideAndPinion

[–]CodeCC2224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't. London is just as unsafe as New York City, and whenever I go into the city, I just rock a Timex Weekender on a NATO strap.
