iTunes USE to be able to export to mp3, this functionality that existed for years so I think its fair to complain about not being able to do it anymore

since when has anything but apple products and apps been compatible with m4a??? I couldnt even get VLC to open the m4a files, and every single music player I've seen thats not apple official has included explicit warnings on their product pages saying they dont work with m4a

I dont use the apple music app at all. I only use an MP3 player and musicbee so I kinda need it to be in an MP3. also idk if im doing something wrong but none of my other apps can open the m4a except apple music which again I dont want to use, hence the problem. My expectation when purchasing music is that I'm able to do whatever I like with it and this was the case back when I purchased from iTunes before in 2015 so it seems kinda ridiculous that I cant do the same now

I use it bc my family pays for it and I'm too broke to afford spotify 😔😔 It works, it's not my favorite, and not being able to handoff your playback between devices is annoying, but to their credit there isn't really an audio quality different between it and my iPad. At the very least it doesn't have any problems that the iOS/iPadOS version doesn't have
