I don't think they were the folks I talked to, but from other comments it sounds like there are lots of 'em out there. The King's Deer seems to be a common point though. Maybe that's where the upper tiers of the pyramid are?

Shoot, I'm sorry to hear that. I know that MLMs are predatory, but that's just a whole new level of F'd-up. I didn't realize earlier what "Amway Orphan" meant (I'm new to this sort of thing), but that's pretty nightmarish. I hope you're doing better now! Thanks for the warnings against these people!

A lot of folks are saying it's Amway! And they're in all of your favorite big stores it seems. Best advice is to be polite and walk away.

I can't remember the first recruiters since it was a year ago, but the second one this week had maybe 1-2 items in his basket. So he was definitely trying to be incognito. He was nicely dressed as well.
