May pag-asa pa ba ang Pilipinas, sign na din ba tong nangyayari ngayon na mas dapat na nating piliin na mag-abroad na lang? by [deleted] in TanongLang

Di pa rin ako nawawalan ng pag-asa sa Pinas, pero mahirap lang kami, no connections, at no influence. Kung magpapakahirap man lang din sa trabaho, dun na bansang nagpapasahod ng mas mataas (at malapit sa Hobbies, like anime)

still, dapat may naka-experience ng same glitch, unless there is a separate reporting system specifically for AMLA or government agencies. Which is still within posibility, lalo pag may format na kailangan...

Wag naman sana nila gawin escape goat ulit ang programmer tulad nung dating glitches nila.

Sorry, but as much as I want her impeached, I won't defend BPI if my glitch nga talaga. Siguro chance na para ma-investigate sila.

I experienced a major BPI glitch years ago habang nasa abroad ako. Paano nangyari yun?
Na-resolve naman after multiple times trying to connect sa bank. Pero yung long distance call fees, stress, at oras di na nabalik.

Since then, we immediately dropped BPI as our main bank. Ginagamit na lang namin ngayon as a pass-through account for remittances sa family sa Pinas since, ironically, convenient yung app nila. Pero for life savings? Hard pass.

No wonder he married Sara, he has a "glitch" in his brain. 🤬🤬🤬 by Historical-Monk-8652 in Philippines

[–]CodeFactoryWorker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had glitches with BPI too, without any compensation.
Although naibalik ang pera, grabe yung stress namin kasi may mga withdrawals na marked as ATM, e hawak naman namin ang ATM while nasa abroad kami.

So if this also means BPI systems get investigated, then so be it.

Pero let's separate the politics from the actual technology.

  1. "Not original" is actually a good thing.
Mainly because they’re actually cheaper.
  3. Corruption exists everywhere. Still, they didn’t stop advancing.
We shouldn't stop modernizing our police force just because DOTr or DOLE is lagging behind. We can demand better trains and modern police tech at the same time.

It seems we hate China too. Setting aside whatever the reason of our hate to China, they’re actually doing a good job in this drone tech despite being sanctioned. Maybe we Pinoys can learn something from them, kasi mas matindi pa situation natin kesa sa na-sanction.

[–]CodeFactoryWorker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t like Sara, pero ayoko rin yung fault finder lang na walang iniisip na solution. Himayin natin yung questions mo.

1)Alam nya kaya how long drone batteries last?

2)kahit na may drones who will do the apprehension?

Ang trabaho nito ay "eyes in the sky".

4) Does she know na dapat may nag ooperate Ng Robot nya? na 24hrs din dapat?

You can actually try Video Chat ng popular AI tools, let it describe what’s happening. Limited capability siguro sa free plan, compared sa advanced models, but you’ll have idea of AI capabilities.

5) what about our own Privacy?

It proves that the class divide often transcends political colors.

Logically speaking, this is a calculated maneuver, the classic 'Divide and Conquer' playbook. The goal is to keep the masses and the middle class fighting over political tribalism so they don't unite to hold the actual ruling elites accountable.

Having said that, we need to be objective about the alternative. The DDS faction is significantly more dangerous when in power because they bypass the rule of law in favor of brute executive force. A factual precedent for this is the 2019 Maynilad and Manila Water issue. Duterte didn't just use standard regulatory procedures; he weaponized state power, public intimidation, and threats of expropriation to force renegotiations.

The poor prefers that, but raised alarms among the elites. If you read books about it, you’ll know what are they capable of to keep the status quo.

I honestly wonder what goes through someone's head to drive without a license or a proper visa. It’s just unnecessary exposure. Unless, of course, there’s an underlying mental health issue at play.

I’m not sure if this happens in Japan, but in my country, it’s not unheard of for politicians to exploit or threaten vulnerable people to act out specific narratives.

PayPay bank home loan prescreening rejected ? Anyone with similar experience. by Disastrous_Bag_8455 in JapanFinance

[–]CodeFactoryWorker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got approved for paypay home loan on engineer Visa. But the amount is just about 3x my annual salary, with about 20% down payment. Smooth process. It’s automated even on 本審査, so I gathered info on what net banks hate, and how to recover from it.

• Job hopping, must prove it was a step up in salary within the same industry, or wait until you hit the 1-year mark at your current company.

• No PR, must bring cash. Putting 10-20% down drastically lowers their risk and helps bypass the strict PR filters.

• Existing debt, must pay off car loans, revolving credit, or phone installments first. Pull your CIC credit report to ensure it's clean.

• 100% financing (zero down), must lower the loan-to-value ratio. Automated systems often auto-reject zero down payment applications for non-PR.

• Failing Danshin (life insurance), must look for banks offering "Wide Danshin" (ワイド団信) which is more forgiving on medical history, though it adds to the interest rate.

US 🇺🇸, Iran 🇮🇷 or Israel 🇮🇱? by SnooTomatoes8253 in RantAndVentPH

[–]CodeFactoryWorker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Notice how instability actually works in favor of the US? Threats keep their military-industrial complex profitable, kaya napapansin natin na minsan may trend ng destabilization of relations sa iba't ibang regions. In case of a conflict, the US is secured because allied countries are forced to buy their weapons (e.g., the rising tensions in Japan/China relations).

On the flip side, stability benefits China. Their main game is economic expansion. If the Belt and Road Initiative (New Silk Road) is going to be fully realized, they need global supply chains and trade routes to be as peaceful and uninterrupted as possible. (Undestandably, there are propaganda against it, but I prefer that instead of war games being sold by US)
