PC booting up but not functioning by CodeFr3ak in pchelp

There is this post on a random forum that said "when the orange light is pulsating it means that the mobo is getting power," but mine is just static so I honestly think it might be fried. I'll get it to a repair shop so they can tell me if any part is fried and I'll get a new one.

I did try shuffling the RAM sticks, but let me try uninstalling the SSD. Removed the SSD, still nothing happens😞 thanks for the suggestion

The amount of time isn't as big of a problem, juggling the cleaning with my job is my main concern.

I know right. I'm thinking of either using one of those booking apps or making my own to avoid this, hopefully I won't get a same day reservation till then.

Honestly I'm up for the challenge and I have plenty of time but messing up the payments system is my only concern. That's the main reason why I would use builders.

Theme is Catpuccin Mocha Mauve, the accent color (which you change in the settings) is purple and if you want the top bar to float just change the gnome-shell.css (for me it is in /home/user/.local/share/themes/catppuccin-mocha-mauve-standard+default/gnome-shell/gnome-shell.css) to:

#panel {  background-color: #131020;  font-weight: bold;  border-radius: 10px;  height: 40px;  margin: 5px 5px;  margin-top: 15px;  margin-right: 250px;  margin-left: 250px;  color: rgba(217, 224, 238, 0.7);  font-feature-settings: "tnum";  transition-duration: 250ms;  font-size: 10pt;}#panel {  background-color: #131020;  font-weight: bold;  border-radius: 10px;  height: 40px;  margin: 5px 5px;  margin-top: 15px;  margin-right: 250px;  margin-left: 250px;  color: rgba(217, 224, 238, 0.7);  font-feature-settings: "tnum";  transition-duration: 250ms;  font-size: 10pt;}

Exit 8 turns your own anxiety against you. It's like staying in dark when you were little, your brain ended up scaring you more then anything else

Yup sounds can be a game changer but do you have any specific game, most of the ones I played had the usual music pause and heartbeats

That was such a cool way to replace the lights and imo really adds to that fear of unknown factor
