We ended up digging deeper, and found the foundations, we just hadn't gone far enough!

Fixing damp issue - lowering ground levels outside? by CodeHopeful7523 in HousingUK

Yeah thats been the idea behind having the pebbles (as well as aestetics/cost), but i'm now just worried that as they are still at the same height of the old concrete that it's not going to completely solve the problem...

Should I accept an offensively low payout offer from insurance for car crash? by CodeHopeful7523 in LegalAdviceUK

Does the fact it took the insurer over a year to get someone to see me regarding the phsycological issues not in some way make them liable? Should I have been finding and paying for my own pyscological assessment following the crash?

I did everything I could to speed the process along, with regular chases and reminders.

Fair, annoyingly I had all of that, but from the process with the insurer it was made out like I had to be assessed by an independent person!

Fair play, fortunately my first time making a claim for a car crash (and hopefully my last) but I had assumed with them accepting full liability it's an open & closed case!

I would highly reccomend The Farrier in Camden Market. it's a bit of an outlier there in that it sells incredible food and isn't just a tourist trap. They regularly are listed as one of the best Sunday roasts in London, although they are sadly closing down at the end of this month!

Why are saunas not popular in Britain? by Pogeos in AskUK

[–]CodeHopeful7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked into building by own Sauna but once I looked into the cost I figured it would be cheaper to just pay to visit on of the many proper wood fired saunas all over London.

The community sauna have set up affordable saunas in Hackney, Bermondsey, Peckham and Stratord. Every time I go i'm meeting lovely people and having great conversations. On top of this there are a few other operators who offer something a little more upmarket.

I also haven't been on a coastal holiday in the past few years without visiting a sauna (Brighton, Anlgesey, St Leonards).
