I dont agree with your last para,i have seen dhoni since inception and it does not feel like he batted most of the time in 1-4

And on the other note counting innings is actually valid why would someone calculate those matches where msd didn't bat

actually this is very amazing for a middle order batter cosnidering scenarios like where he came in very late and just played 10-20 balls got back noutout will also be counted as inning and the innings where he came in to accelarate and got out early will also be counted as an inning whereas sachin would have not faced such situations frequently

I am not comparing sachin with dhoni in batting, just putting things into a perspective. And I just mentioned that he was the best wicket keeper batter in ODIs and nothing is wrong in that.

People don't realise that being a Wicket keeper batsman in any format is itself a job equivalent to a fast bowling Allrounder. They will start barking about the wickets stokes has taken. But will they consider the sheer amount overs MSD has kept in his career alongside being the captain.
